I've got a feeling...that tonight's gonna be a good night

Help yourself to an ADMIT ONE pass if you're a fan of The Musketeers with a clear allegiance to at least one, preferably no more than four.

I do love you wenches

Bletherskate - I'm fairly clueless but that's more of a general life description

Travelled - sounds fab. Am very Envy but in a good way

A friend of mine was saying how she likes a particular place for a holiday as they have paella every night. Wink sounds alright to me.

Travelledtheworld · 10/01/2015 21:15

letusPrey yum Paella. Cooked on the beach.

One of the best meals I ate was in Figueres in Spain and it was just five fresh fish, fried in olive oil and garlic.
The menu simply described it as " fish on a plate".

And also scrambled eggs and tomatoes on a Chinese train. I have been trying to recreate the same flavour ever since, without luck.

Nothing to do with Musketeers.
But do they ever eat ? And who does the cooking ?

MiladyBeaWinter · 10/01/2015 21:24

Well it's not Queeny Wink

Food always tastes better abroad I think, especially outside in the sun next to the sea.

LetUsPrey · 10/01/2015 21:27

Queenie did some cooking for them in Knight Takes Queen with the miraculously appearing from nowhere and then disappearing cooking pots.

Should have said the paella I like is paella nutella which is wench speak for Paolo Nutini

Lyndie · 10/01/2015 21:31

And it's MrsB or Bea, not Milady. You'll get there in about a year

bletherskate · 10/01/2015 21:32

can i contribute this to the cooking talk?

MiladyBeaWinter · 10/01/2015 21:35

Oh this is a great picture. Not as good as previous back of the truck photos, but still a cracker.

I've name changed a bit Kate. I like Bea best or plain old MrsB (from before I got posh).

Evening all.

I suspect letus' wenching mojo has been swept into a pre-moving bin bag round at Elks. Don't worry, it'll turn up in the bungalow of scarves at some point

Are we re-watching at 9pm tomorrow? I will be as I watched it with ds1 so it wasn't quite the same wenchy experience.

I'm watching Avengers Assemble again. So this time, not only am I enjoying TH and RDJ but I'm taking a bit more notice of Mark Ruffalo.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 10/01/2015 21:38

Trav Where in Scandinavia have you been? Smile

MavisGrind · 10/01/2015 21:42

Oh bloody hell ds1 is up again. When will this child sleep? and stop ruining my perving opportunities

bletherskate · 10/01/2015 21:46

ok, got it MrsB. Smile

I too remember travel before children....dh gets about a bit for work ( so to speak) but last year I managed a trip to Prague.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 10/01/2015 21:48

Ooh, Prague, it's so gorgeous there Smile

OTB approaching, my tits hurt Angry

FancyFancy · 10/01/2015 21:55

Back from dinner and feeling stuffed.

badders sorry if my post about the cell model sounded a bit 'we've all had to do it, suck it up', it was meant to sound more like 'I remember that, I feel your pain'!

Another request for 'making of' videos for each episodes please BBC.

That Aramis gif on every page sparks? Fantastic idea & might help letus find her wenching mojo

travelled - and for your willingness to share Athos with me Ah ha ha. Good luck with that & when you get tired of waiting for your chance, don't start getting any ideas about Aramis will you? Wink

Shock @ mrAnne & elk's assessment of Dog's face. Harsh.

Glad you have power again mrsbeee. Mmmm, crispy seaweed comtess, I could make some room for that. Yay for helen's water too.

On the food issue - always better when someone else has cooked it Grin

FancyFancy · 10/01/2015 21:58

Oh I sometimes get that ww I hate it. Some nights I dread taking my bra off, it hurts.

Grin
FancyFancy · 10/01/2015 22:00

Hmm, something's missing from the page.

Sorted.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 10/01/2015 22:01

Thanks Fancy, you're so considerate Smile

FancyFancy · 10/01/2015 22:05

DD is 12 and gets sensitive nipples (can't really call them breasts yet Grin ) at times as she's growing, you should see us trying to have a cuddle that doesn't hurt either of us Grin.

Travelledtheworld · 10/01/2015 22:06

Wicked Finland. I worked there for a summer.
It was lovely but the language is impossible.
And Sweden.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 10/01/2015 22:07

The joy of womanhood HmmGrin

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 10/01/2015 22:09

Sweden is such a lovely place don't you think? And the people are amazing! Wink

Travelledtheworld · 10/01/2015 22:10

Fancy. We are all sharing the fantasies if nothing more......

BTW in the original book, Aramis is VERY religious....

FancyFancy · 10/01/2015 22:11

Finland in the summer must be gorgeous travelled, my Dad used to go there with work sometimes & always complained that it was mostly in the winter!

Travelledtheworld · 10/01/2015 22:11

We would all pile into the Sauna together, thrash ourselves with birch twigs and then swim in the lake.
Honest.

Travelledtheworld · 10/01/2015 22:14

It was light all night in the summer. Couldn't sleep.
Wicked Mosquitos too !

FancyFancy · 10/01/2015 22:16

I've not been to Sweden ww, but I am sure it's lovely & the people are wonderful - renowned for their exquisite taste in tv shows Wink

That's alright travelled, I like a man down on his knees
