I've got a feeling...that tonight's gonna be a good night

Help yourself to an ADMIT ONE pass if you're a fan of The Musketeers with a clear allegiance to at least one, preferably no more than four.

Mouse!!
Welcome back
Weather looks shit here
I wonder when TM will get fed up of kingy?
Doe Anne love rochefort do we think? Or Aramis?

Travelledtheworld · 10/01/2015 09:25

Sorry Tom, but that hat and scarf has shattered my illusions about the man that you seem to be in real life ( goes back to fantasy world of moody, virile leather clad aristocrat).

Baddz · 10/01/2015 09:28

Travelled.....he does love a hat and scarf combo ??

AnneOfAramis · 10/01/2015 09:41

Anne was very attracted to Aramis, obviously but I don't think she loves him. She was neglected by Louis and her position in France was at risk. He both scratched an itch and possibly has secured her position through his virile manliness. Although as someone has already pointed out, maybe Louis did that by himself.

Roquefort and her have history and it's entirely possible that she may have feelings. She sees him as reliable and a steady, loyal part of her life.

They let Queenie go too much last night. She has a great way of being understated but last night that was missing. Although now she has secured herself more in the King 's affections and has an heir perhaps this has made her more bolshy.

Travelledtheworld · 10/01/2015 09:47

Badz Hmm really don't like that " look".
Sigh.

LaComtess · 10/01/2015 09:47

Morning wenchery!

I've had a busy time of it. I'm currently MNing pitchside in ridiculously windy conditions but hell, extreme wenching is my way.

Despite little sleep I'm having a brilliant day. Firstly was woken for a sleepy morning shag by Mr C. He then left early for swimming with ds4 so I got to watch the episode with breakfast before meeting him here with the others!!! Yay! Bonus as I thought I wouldn't get to see til tonight cos of stupid book group. (Which actually I enjoyed but couldnt forgive for fucking up my Musketeer time).

It's odd watching for the first time in the morning.

I really enjoyed it! I though Ryan was fab and Luca was great in it. There wasn't quite enough Athos in it for me. But that's a complaint I could make every week. It's just greed and out and out WANT.

But I think things are setting up for some very interesting storylines. I really liked MW's bits this episode, and the whole dynamic with Anne is very good. And I really like Milady being back. And I loved all the Tav bits.

So, I was a happy bunny. I agree with Anne and Apricot that it's not Commodities but yes, last season took a little while to get going and I thought this was a very good episode.

Also agree with Badders that the Aramis blog woman comes across as a bit unhinged. And that's coming from me.

I'm going to rewatch later this pm.

Now then. Team Tom. WE ARE ALL ON MESSAGE. You know how I knew exactly what Elk was thinking the other day re the shower. APRICOT YOU HAVE GIFFED EXACTLY THE LEG/PELVIS SHIFT I WAS ADMIRING. . FMWAG. Thank you Apricot. That'll keep me going a while.

Lovely lovely lovely.

Travelled - hello! Interesting to hear your comments. Ref Tom's scarf hat etc. You just have to go with it. S'alright you concentrate on the leather pics. I'll just keep looking at the leg stretch/ pelvis tilt. A lot. Grin

Enormouse · 10/01/2015 09:48

I'm shipping Aramis and Anne.

Babymouse and I are off to the hairdressers in a bit. I have no idea what I'm doing with my barnet yet and babymouse frankly looks bonkers.

Flopsy28 · 10/01/2015 10:04

Morning mouse, bonkers babymouse and general wenches!

DD's football has been called off today which means that the wonderful Mrflops has offered to take DS. It would be rude to say no so I'm still in bed, albeit wide awake.

I loved the episode last night, it's been so long since I watched at the same time as most others so I got a bit overexcited! I've scrolled back and my comments appear to consist of random noises, squeaks and exclamations!

Tons to do today in the midden that is my home so I think I'll get some Frosties and another brew.

Flopsy28 · 10/01/2015 10:08

Ps...jealous of your morning shag comtess, I'm not very good at those due to loving sleep too much. Hmm

Flopsy28 · 10/01/2015 10:09

Oh, drink! , I think you'll find that Hozier is mine if you scroll back to the previous thread. But I feel you what, when I meet him in May, I'll let him know you're a fan. M'kay? Smile

Flopsy28 · 10/01/2015 10:10

Ha ha ha 'Tell you what' not feel...took the wind out of the sails a bit.
I'll stop talking to myself now shall I? Smile

Still catching up.
LOVE the christening scene with lots of lovely lace, silk and fur clothing and look at our lovely boys in their smart new blue over cloaks....

(Whimpers....)

MiladyBeaWinter · 10/01/2015 10:14

Morning. Ooft may have a two bottles of red wine slight hangover . DS has a party to go to in an hour and as its a nursery age little girl who is hosting it, it'll be a stay and socialise party. I need to wrangle him into fancy dress for it too. It's also blowing a hoolie outside and starting to snow. Great. FMDSP

I thoroughly enjoyed last nights episode. Not one of the all time greats (Commodities and Knight takes Queen for me too) but very good. Dissapointed Kingy wasn't more heroic, but then he was true to character. He has had a valet and been extremely indulged from an early age, so no suprise he just expects servitude and has no empathy. Think this was the compare and contrast with Dog thing they were talking about. The whole section with Pepin (who should carry him, how he was proud to defend the king once he knew and how Kingy just forgot about him afterwards.

Loved Athos in the tavern and the masterful striding about, loved Kingy shooting the man saying he absolutely had too, was Shock that Athos allowed Dog his scarf and though Dog was very heroic. Boo to Salt (she's not even a nice caring Nanny) and to Connie. Time to get your sass back love.

Who spotted the hat continuity error outside Pepin's widow's house?

Right better go child wrangle, have a nice Saturday all.

Flopsy28 · 10/01/2015 10:18

Hi travelled, welcome to the tavern. What's your poison?

Baddz · 10/01/2015 10:19

Love the shade of blue of the musketeers cloaks btw

Travelledtheworld · 10/01/2015 10:21

Flopsy28 · 10/01/2015 10:23

Good choice trav, good choice. Oh, and good luck. Porthos and I will just wait over here on the chaise and watch the carnage Wink

LaComtess · 10/01/2015 10:39

Travelling - totally agree about the cloaks. I cannot blame you for bring besotted by Athos. Who wouldn't be?

Can I just bring up THE SCARF BIT. OMFG. The dirty little scarf. I nearly actually popped.

Floppers so glad you got a lie in. Good old MrF. Some v nice Porthos action for you last night I though. I love a man with real physical power I do.

Bea totes agree ref the Salt. Major sympathy ref a stay and socialise party this early. Can you take a cafetiere?

Badders how are you feeling this morning with your unspecified Lurgy? Better I hope. Totes agree ref the cloaks. Would suit me too I think...Grin

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 10/01/2015 10:42

Morrrrrning, just got up,oops. Today will mostly be spent unwashed & in running kit again, waiting for wind to drop before I can contemplate trying to run against it.

I need to rewatch BADLY.

Mrs Bea you can wash your mouth out with hat continuity. How do wenches even notice things like that on the first watch?

Elk I really hope you've managed to watch by now. I sooooo felt for you last night. I'd have cried I think.

Travelled welcome welcome. Grin at TB's outfit comments - however we let him off as a. he's funny & b. very very occasionally when his Mum's been round he manages to get it very right.

Am off to find us some Twitter goodies.

Morning. Still got migraine.

Hello mouse!!!!

I think I might love that film more than Ghostbusters.

Please can I ask for your help wenches...My DS's 5th birthday is coming up and Im stumped for what to do. Last year we had about 8 kids in my house, traditional party stuff, sweet but a bit knackering (house is small). Seems a bit boring to to that again, or the same thing but more kids in a hired venue. ?????? His foundation class has 45 kids so no question of inviting the whole class, so we could do something smaller if we want.

Im trying to think of a theme now hes older and to make it different to last year - a magician, face painting...? Anyone done anything with their DCs that worked well and was too expensive? Thankyaw....

MadamedeChevreuse · 10/01/2015 10:49

"And was NOT too expensive."

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 10/01/2015 10:50

No reason.
