I was just about to start a thread about this!

Game: take a shot every time the voiceover says the word 'benefits'

Too fat, too lazy, too used to benefits, too easy to carry on as they are

Well I thought it would be precisely that...but then wondered 'isn't that too obvious?' and given the bad press and unpopularity of Benefits Street (for stereotyping / demonising a downtrodden part of society) I couldn't quite get over that they would be screening still more programmes in the same genre

Thought it was awful. How do they know the reason these people haven't got jobs is because they are fat? No employer would dare state that as a reason. More likely they are unqualified or inexperienced or have a bad attendance record
Just to add I am classed as morbidly obese. BMI over 50 and I have a good job which I work hard at and have had one day sick in 3 years! I'm active and know the reasons why I am so fat. I've never had trouble getting a hobble cause I am highly qualified/experienced and reliable!

hoot! yes, yes! .....the 'benefits wedding' narrator gave me the rage! handouts was used a few times aswell....its just a fucking wedding!!!..although 7th time lucky? .

I believe one of the examples used is a man who is overweight due to the levels of inactivity he has.

Which occurred because of a stroke and the medication following it.

Bit disgraceful using him to fat bash isn't it?

Just watching this now. One girl annoyed me when she said that it wasnt her fault that she was too fat to work. Eh yes it is seeing as she openly admitted that she eats far to much.

Also TWO big packets of mince for two people for one meal! No wonder he is over weight.

Felt sorry for amy and her mum.

I also felt sorry for the woman who was having bariatric surgery.

The couple were harder for me to really sympathise with to be honest.

People get their wedding paid by the government? Really this is just shocking.

I really hope this is propaganda. Surely I'm not going to work tomorrow to pay tax for these pointless people?

I assume they are actors?
