Anyone watching Jools Holland Hootenanny?

I was supposed to have a date tonight but it fell through so I'm all dressed up and on my own watching the Hootenanny! Don't really mind but would be nice to have some company! Joss Stone was just on, great voice and great dress! Come join me and tell me how your NYE is going...? Smile

Dp is. I absolutely hate him (JH not dp). Some blonde was just shouting and screaming - was it Joss Stone? I don't like her either. And now it's just boring old men.

She did! I loved her first 2 albums, then she went a bit modern R&B which didn't really work. Love her when she sings soulful classics.

I got an email from BBC tickets for the Hootenanny which was being recorded on the 10th December or something. Ruined it for my mate too, she was gutted it wasn't actually live.....

I'm sure this was just the same in the 70's when I was a teenager. JH exactly the same, or was there someone else just like him back then. Anyway I remember the bagpipes from watching with my DP's.
Between then and now I did have some more interesting NYE's, honest!
Just had a NYE hug with dd so everything's good Xmas Smile

Its recorded in July/August or even november but never live.
Posted on another thread that my dh didn't tell me he had recorded it the year he was on and I thought I'd drunk too much when I put it on and his mug was on there.
