Lucky Darcey getting to tour around Europe and speaking to Audrey's friends and family.

Anyone else finding Darcey's walk a bit distracting? It's a bit of a waddle, not sure if it's down to all those years of dancing or whether she's got an injury.

Is she walking with turnout? Dd does & it looks quite strange, especially when she's trying to run.

That could be it, pictures. It is a very funny looking walk for someone who is usually so graceful.

It's an interesting documentary, actually.

DH and I were just talking about this, it's quite blokeish, like she's got a pair of bollocks so has to keep her legs wide apart

I had no idea that Vanessa Redgrave (just featured) was such a stunner in her youth either.

I imagine all of the dancing hasn't been too helpful to her hips, hence the elephant waddle.

I love Audrey.

Me too. Roman Holiday is one of my all time favourite films.

Dancers are taught to turn out from their hips , not their feet so that probably accounts for the walk.

Ooh I hope it's training not knackered hips.

Just watched this. It was really good and Darcy's hairdresser is amazing! She always looks beautifully groomed but, without being flamed, why did she have to describe her eye colour as shitty!? Just seemed completely out of place and context. Maybe just me..... (Walks away quietly)

I agree. Such a stylish, beautiful subject treated with reverence... And then the shitty eye comment. Was grim.
