Who do you think the best Strictly contestant of all time is?

I've only watched it for the last 3 years, and out of Louis Smith, Abby Clancy and Caroline Flack I think Louis was the best.

Anyone followed it since the beginning and has an opinion on the best of all time?

I would say Louis as well.

HainaultViaNewburyPark · 29/12/2014 19:26

Louis wasn't even the best contestant in his series Shock

I'd go for either Jill Halfpenny or Kara Tointon personally.

TheLastNameLeft · 29/12/2014 19:26

Hmm this is a difficult one for me..I loved Alisha Dixon but also loved Jill Halfpenny and also Kara Tointon. Im going to sit on the fence I think :)

HollyJollyXmas · 29/12/2014 19:27

Alesha Dixon for me. She was angelic! Like a lovely princess...

jackfrosticle · 29/12/2014 19:28

Not seen Alesha Dixon's dances - any in particular you'd recommend I have a look at on youtube?

Jill halfpenny or mark ramprakash for me.

Wonkyparsnip · 29/12/2014 19:29

Caroline. Loved her.

PiggyBeekman · 29/12/2014 19:30

Jill Halfpenny. Her jive has never been bettered IMO.

MargotLovedTom · 29/12/2014 19:32

I didn't watch when Ramps was on. I'd also say Kara, although I also loved Alesha. I enjoyed Harry too, and I was gutted when Austin and Scott Maslen were voted off add I loved their dancing, especially the jives. Actually I also loved Matt de Angelo, esp his salsa Wink.

tribpot · 29/12/2014 19:35

Ramprakash. I'm less au fait with the recent winners but I appreciate the ones who don't have a massive early advantage from stage training.

Jazzicatz · 29/12/2014 19:36

Definitely Harry Judd, not only was he very beautiful, but every week he danced effortlessly but was consistently under marked.

turdfairynomore · 29/12/2014 19:49

I loved Harry too!! His quickstep was amazing.

Happynapi · 29/12/2014 20:01

Louis because i usually prefer those who are absolutely useless and improve but stand no chance of winning but louis did struggle until quite late on as he couldn't perform/act very well. So out of the winners i would say him

HalleLouja · 29/12/2014 20:15

I thought the best ones not to win were Zoe Ball and Scott Maslen. I seem to remember he did a Viennese waltz that was amazing.

HalleLouja · 29/12/2014 20:16

Ramps and Karen were amazing winners.

ShebaQueen · 29/12/2014 20:18

Not my favourite but best dancer I think was Kara Tointon

theliverpoolone · 29/12/2014 20:50

Colin Jackson was my favourite of the non-winners. He did a brilliant quick-step.

rubyflipper · 29/12/2014 20:59

Mark Ramprakash.

No dance training whatsoever but his performances with Karen Hardy were magic. He should have received a 40 for his Argentine Tango. Craig Revel-Horwood must have been having an off say when he scored it a 9.

Cocolepew · 29/12/2014 21:06

Alesha Dixon, I loved watching her dance. The ine she did to Crazy in Love was fabulous darling

SockyWockyDooDaaa · 29/12/2014 21:06

Caroline, she was amazing.

IthoughtATMwasacashpoint · 29/12/2014 21:14

I thought Ricky Whittle was a much better dancer than Chris Hollins.

tribpot · 29/12/2014 21:59

Chris Hollins was the first to admit he was no way the best dancer in the competition, but had the Ola factor + strong recognition across multiple age groups.

Colin Jackson was brilliant, I can't believe he was robbed of the title. Zoe Ball also was incredibly good.

Clayhead · 29/12/2014 22:00

Colin Jackson
