Morning, I'm new to Netflix and all that stuff- we're almost finished breaking bad (series 5 episode 5 tonight!) ... Facing into the black hole that will appear when we wont have 2 episodes of BB to watch every night, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions please?

I've been watching a bit of Orange is the new black which I really like, and DH has already watched all of house of cards and Lillehammer (I work late a lot so he got through loads of them!)

Anyway in case any of you had any recommendations based on the above, id be most grateful! Thanks

We've gone old school and are going through 24. There's about 8 series or something, so will keep us busy!

Also, when DH is out, I'm getting through Gossip Girl!

Bowlersarm · 28/12/2014 11:48

Prison Break is keeping us occupied since we got it as a present on Christmas day. It's brilliant.

Anjelica27 · 28/12/2014 11:48

I'm half way through Season 2 of Breaking Bad and loving it. If you enjoyed that, try Dexter - it was amazing!!!

BertieBotts · 28/12/2014 11:53

Fringe, Orphan Black. My two favourite shows currently. Best given without any spoilers at all - just watch the first episode and see if you get hooked.

Have you seen Parenthood? That's great too, more feel good though, less gritty.

Pinkwillow · 28/12/2014 11:58

Dexter,for sure.
Boardwalk Empire
The Sopranos
The Shield
The Wire

Check the Digital Spy forum for many more Smile

Ooh thank you all! I love getting teeth stuck in to something new and gripping! Will check these all out. Doesn't have to be gritty, not for me, anyway- I like a bit of feel good stuff too! Thanks again

Meplusyouequals4 · 28/12/2014 14:13

The 4400
Heroes
Sons of anarchy
OITNB
dexter
Prison break
The good wife
Luther
Damages
Nurse jackie

Are all really good

Pinkwillow · 28/12/2014 18:28

How could I forget Sons of Anarchy,or Game of Thrones?
For lightness,Curb Your Enthusiasm,Transparent, and (can't believe anyone missed this perfection) Frasier.

PrivateSecretaryNetwork · 28/12/2014 18:31

Definitely The Wire, keeping DH and me very entertained (thank you MIL!)

Micah · 28/12/2014 18:35

Second orphan black. It's fab :)

PeppermintInfusion · 29/12/2014 10:13

I've just got through the first 3 seasons of scandal. Really good, and not what I was expecting (a political drama) as it's much more twisted.

DropYourSword · 29/12/2014 10:17

Not sure if it's on Netflix but I loved Vikings

drools at hairy manly men

car1sberg · 29/12/2014 10:19

Luther!!

PeppermintInfusion · 29/12/2014 11:00

Car1sberg I watched the first ep of this today, it's brilliant and a UK drama is a nice change from all the US box sets on NF

Egghead68 · 29/12/2014 18:29

I liked Nurse Jackie and am enjoying The Good Wife.

AppleSnapple · 30/12/2014 00:35

Wow, Thank you all... Only problem now is knowing where to start!
