Trollied

I love, love, LOVED the first two series of Trollied. Proper laughing - you know, the kind where your OH comes in to see what's up. But this series just seemed to fall flat. I miss Andy, Katy, Leighton, the Brummie baker! I hate the character Rose. I don't find her funny at all. I watched it all but I didn't really laugh. I'm quite disappointed really. Is it just me?

Yes the few series I loved would watch and literally cry with laughter. The series and the last have been so boring. This series I watched the first few episodes that's all, seems utter rubbish now.

I don't like Rose. At all

I like Charlie and Daniel tho, but Rose does my head in

It's not just you, we loved it up until this series, we tried three episodes and then gave up.

It's a new producer and editor which might explain it. I like Daniel and Charlie. Rose is just awful, nothing funny about someone who is cruel and manipulative!

I've just watched the Christmas special, so funny!

And sorry, I've just realised Rose is Miriam Margolyes. The one I liked was Charlie.

It was such a disappointment. I loved the previous series but the Rose character was horrendous - and I usually adore Miriam Margolyes.

We deleted the last few episodes without watching them.

Charlie is one of those people we all have in our lives - so ditzy but you can't help but love them! :)

Rose - I guess they brought her in so Lisa had someone to banter with but it seems no-one can stand her! I think Lisa is both awful and hilarious, you can't help but laugh! But there's no humour in the Rose character.

I think it's been disappointing. I echo above Rose was just irritating and seemed to take over the whole show and I too usually like Miriam Margoyles.

I do like Charlie though and Steven Tompkinson as the pharmacist.

Why has no-one mentioned Julie? She was a great character!

I didn't realise how much I missed Julie until I watched the Christmas special. She nailed that Warrington accent!

Yeah the first two series were fantastic, but they've lost the plot now.

The first 2 series were amazing. Loved Andy, Katie, Kieran, Leighton and Julie (and Stephanie Beechams character too - "Ya bastard")

Series 3 went downhill after the loss of Andy and introduction of the pricky manager and this series is even worse. I've series recorded it and can't be bothered to watch past episode 2. Should have ended last season

Haha Stephanie Beecham were bastard good (I had a manager like her). I think it went from in my experience, realistic to caracutures.

Oh goodness just said the same to DH the other night-he asked if I fancied watching (he's not watched this series at all yet) and I was like 'noooooooo it's AWFUL now'.......have deleted episodes I'd recorded - I tried to like it but have admitted defeat and given up!

I agree. Rose is completely irritating & this series is awful. Hope they stop now. They lost too many of their best characters (Leighton & Julie especially).

I miss Andy but loved the ending they gave him. His Ian Botham joke had me laughing like a drain - sadly I cant find a clip of it online anywhere.

I like Charlie but not the Charlie-Daniel thing. I also don't understand how Neville and whatsherface work as a couple, makes no sense.

I loathe the most recent series. I agree that Rose is awful although I do like Miriam Margolies usually.
I notice that most of the old great cast went off to major series elsewhere though Jason Watkins has managed to pop up all over as well as in trollied.
Oh well. ..
