I'm 15 mins into the first ep.

It's not this dire all the way through is it??

Is it all filmed in the two(?) different timelines?

Erm, yes practically all of it jumps back & forth.
It took me quite a few episodes to get into it, but I really really got hooked!!

it's so slow!

Even when they found the body it didn't peak my interest!Blush

I've just been naughty & read the plot for the first ep online & it sounds really interesting.
but it's just not grabbing me.

It is a slow-burner (and really really not great in its representation of women Hmm ) but I did end up hooked.

well i've just watched the first ep & there's been another murder so they might have got the wrong guy in 1995(?)

Well I've watched three, so will see it through now.

Come down with a stinking cold so will only be moving between the sofa & bed for a couple of days!

I watched it all and really don't understand the hype. It's slower than molasses, both leads are over acting to the point that it almost feels like a parody and I found the ending deeply disappointing.

It's definitely slow!

And a cliched.

when Woody Harrelson's character found out that his OW was seeing someone so went round in a temper & making threats!Hmm

MM's character gets on well with WH's character's wife, so I'm guessing that they'll have an affair at some pointHmmHmm

I know it's a bit of an old thread but we watched it recently over a couple of nights and it was fan-fucking- tastic other than the daft chase in the Corcosa labrinyth.

Absolutely loved it, we liked the slowness and the music was brilliant .

I loved this series, I was so angry when my sister gave up with it after the first episode, it is fabulous. I'm so disappointed to hear that series two will have different actors playing the lead roles, very big boots to fill.

Very well acted and written but very depressing. Would never download or buy the boxset to rewatch it.
