Poor old Fred. After years of looking for a woman now he's died there are two fighting over him. Ashley will now inherit the butcher dynasty. All hail the sausage king.

I didn't feel very emotional at Fred's death. Mike's death was much more moving.

I want to know how you lot can watch soaps.

That is bed time in our house.

Oh, I'm so sad. Although I stopped watching Corrie years ago (when it went up to four nights a week it just became too much of a commitment) Fred was one of those classics - don't make 'em like that anymore. How could anyone resist a man who always had a nice juicy bit of topside somewhere about his person.

He looked remarkably well in his coffin. Bet he was dying to laugh (geddit?). OH the irony, I say, the irony, after all those proposals, he finally had two women after him and never made it up the aisle with either of them.
