SPOILERS

DON'T READ IF YOU HAVENT SEEN THE FINAL EPISODE.

Okay so the homeless woman is supposed to be the angel of death? I'm a bit confused about that.

Really surprised jax killed himself. I know he had to die but....

I love that Wendy, Nero and the kids were okay. Such an emotional episode I was teary the whole way through. HmmBlush

I watched the finale last night and sobbed through most of it, even though I was sure from early in the season that Jax would die at the end. It was a good episode but not the best, IMO. It all just tied up a bit too neatly at the end for my liking. I think the episode where Opie died had more impact than the finale. But I did like the 'I got this' nod to Opie as Jax was leaving the MC.

My favorite bit was Chibs shooting Happy in the arm and Happy barely flinching but then breaking down when Jax was saying goodbye...that tipped me over the edge. I love Happy the psychotic bastard . I read somewhere that the actor who plays Happy is a real member of the Hells Angels and was originally employed as an advisor on the show but talked his way into getting a role on the show.

I do wish he hadn't killed Unser but I can kind of see why it had to happen.

Don't know that I have an outright favourite episode but the first time we met Venus is certainly in my top 5 Grin.

How am I going to live without SOA? Might have to go back to the start and rewatch from the beginning. Except I'll skip the Belfast episodes this time. As a native of the city, the shit Irish accents and massive location inaccuracies made me want to kill my television.

Oh yeslidl the episode where we first meet Venus was brilliant, how they all kept straight faces is beyond me! I adore Walton Goggins and think his amazing portrayal of Venus is Emmy award worthy...

I can't think of a favourite episode but I did love the first seasons with clay and when things weren't so serious. When juice would smile. My favourite song however is an easy one it's a cover of hey hey my my by battleme and I love it.

fukkigucci · 14/12/2014 14:40

I loved it. I thought it was a really fitting end. Although, I hope that Abel doesn't hero worship his dad when he finds out what the rings are.
Agree about lyla - she was annoying. Juices storyline really saddened me. I felt that it really illustrated how corrupt and corrupted every single person who came into contact with the club is/was. Although, Wendy and Nero did get away.

I thought when Jax binned his blood spattered trainers he would just open a cupboard filled with boxes of brand new ones and slip on another pair. They've looked box fresh for 7 seasons, I figured he just wore them once and put a new pair on every day.

GreenEyedMonster14 · 14/12/2014 20:54

The episode opie died was probably my favourite. It was just so sad and really powerful. I cried buckets while and after watching it.

Can anyone remember the ATF agent? The one with beautiful swishy hair? I thought she was a brilliant character too. Her name was stall or something?

I really didn't like Tara. I felt sorry for her and I really tried to like her but I just couldn't. I was always hoping jax and Wendy would get back together! I swear her baby Thomas never grew up either! Wasn't Abel about 2 when thimas was born? But Thomas looked about 18 months during season 7 and Abel was 5?

Apparently Jax was supposed to be me grey in 50 shades movie but turned it down! How disappointing Hmm

Mermaid, I had similar thoughts on his shoes! Grin

I'm glad he wore the checked shirt at the end. That was my favourite of his three tops. Grin

I'm glad he turned it down tbh he'd lose credibility for that I think. I also disliked tara so much. I thing is was stark wasn't it agent stark maybe?
Tara got worse the shorter her hair got.

guineapiglet · 14/12/2014 21:42

June Stahl was the dodgy ATF agent, she was a great character. I loved Lincoln Potter who was FBI but had a grudging respect for the Sons and was really nice to Otto.

I am so glad Charlie turned down 50 Shades,( although of course I would have watched him on the front row wearing my dirty macGrin), he is waaaay better than that drivel.

Tara intrigued me. She was great, sassy and impressive in the first few series but I guess had had enough of club life in the last two series!
I loved Cherry, half sacks lass who ended up with the Sons in Belfast. The female leads, the DA Patterson, Sheriff Jarry etc have been brilliant. I also liked Collette and Winsome. Plus Wendy did come good in the end, great acting. Shame about Gemma and TaraXmas Wink

Ps re the song fixer, I love that song, but I am a mahooosive Neil Young fan, and feel very disloyal to like another versionBlush
Audrae Maes version of Bob Dylan's Forever Young, was absolutely brilliant though. I, personally am not a great Katey Sagal fan, she's ok but shouts. I liked her version of To Sir With Love though.

whoneedstosleep · 15/12/2014 20:07

There's a programme online called anarchy afterword. It basically is kurt sutter and some cast members talking about each episode after it airs.

He didn't give any real answers about the homeless women. He said she can be whatever the viewer wants her to be but did make some Hamlet references.

The crows and the bread at the very end was how the very first episode started.

Pinkwillow · 16/12/2014 14:25

I started watching the last one of those shows Who. Kurt was disappointingly inarticulate, and he actually suggested that Charlie Hunnam (who was with him)was talking about himself too much Hmm Uncomfortable to watch.

whoneedstosleep · 17/12/2014 03:49

pinkwillow I know exactly what you mean, he takes a long time to get to the point he is trying to make.

It doesn't make for easy watching!
