So Jamie bring on all the food with a flourish and the other guests can't even take a polite bite?
How rude

I don't like that Victoria Wood anyway nation treasure my ass and I'm not familiar with the actor bloke.

I have this recording for watching tomorrow but now I'm
Already Hmm

Love Jamie!

Sparklingbrook · 05/12/2014 23:06

Ugh One Direction now, What a crap sofa line up we have tonight. I did like Victoria Wood when she was in the 80s with Julie Walters.

BeHoHoHove · 06/12/2014 00:29

Worst. Norton. Ever.

Harry whotsisname seemed a bit, er, detached from proceedings (sniff)

I thought One Erection looked pretty miserable tbh especially when they were singing. Didn't look like their hearts were really in it somehow. Wonder when Harry will announce he's going solo...?

TheSpottedZebra · 06/12/2014 00:36

I think he food was chicken and Victoria Wood is veggie. Hence her odd excise about not wanting to spill it down her.

BiscuitMillionaire · 06/12/2014 00:38

I'm sorry, you're 'not familiar with the actor bloke'?! Are you serious. He's Sir Ian McKellen, hugely respected actor. One of the best Shakespearean actors of his generation. Now famous for X Men and Lord of the Rings.

BiscuitMillionaire · 06/12/2014 00:40

No Jamie said he knew she was veggie so he'd made her a separate curry. She said something about not being able to breathe and eat.

BiscuitMillionaire · 06/12/2014 00:40

Agree that Harry S looks out of it.

TheSpottedZebra · 06/12/2014 00:43

Ah missed that bit, Biscuit

TheSpottedZebra · 06/12/2014 00:45

Maybe actor bloke was michael Keston? It was him that did not eat, no? Ian McK came on later.

Michael Leaton wa so forgettable that I had to Google who was on the show as I'd forgotten quite who it was.

TheSpottedZebra · 06/12/2014 00:45

Huh. I can spell Keaton but my autocorrect cannot.

BiscuitMillionaire · 06/12/2014 00:52

Oh I'm sorry, you meant Michael Keaton. Yeah, not having seen him in Batman I only know him from a really bad performance in Much Ado About Nothing with Ken and Em.

BiscuitMillionaire · 06/12/2014 00:54

Actually when I saw the thread title I thought it was going to be about feeling a little uncomfortable with Sir Ian leching after One Direction.

SheHasAWildHeart · 06/12/2014 09:15

His leching was uncomfortable which is prob why Harry was acting the way he was, he gets enough stick for going out with older women and rumours about his sexuality, that he doesn't need Sir Ian added into the mix! Plus he started on about their dope smoking as soon as they sat down which wasn't funny or clever.

BeHoHoHove · 06/12/2014 12:10

Yes, it was Michael Keaton I meant, should've said that but I was too lazy to check the listing.

Strange show all round.

The film that Michael Keaton was not doing a very good job of promoting "Birdman" is great fun - I was lucky enough to see a preview at a film festival - MK & all do a very good job of sending up actively egos....

ocelot7 · 06/12/2014 12:18

Actorly egos...

Coumarin · 06/12/2014 12:39

It was a weird episode.

Michael Keaton, Ian M and Jamie would've worked with Wand Erection doing the music bit and red chair at the end.

I thought Victoria Wood was rude too. One bite wouldn't have hurt. And Michael Keaton for that matter. I'll eat it!

ThinkIveBeenHacked · 06/12/2014 21:23

Just watching this now. HOW RUDE was Victoria Wood. If Jen and Brad fly you over to personally cook for them in their home, then your food is clearly good. Just try a freaking bite.

I enjoyed IM, but was quite surprised that Graham didnt refer to him as Sir Ian....

ThinkIveBeenHacked · 06/12/2014 21:25

One of the Wandies is looking very Jason Manfordish at tge moment.

Coumarin · 06/12/2014 22:15

1D look like they hate their lives. If I was a betting woman I'd go and put a huge chunk on Harry doing a Robbie soon. He'll be off his face at Glastonbury hanging around a more credible band in no time.

Victoria Wood seemed to rely dislike Jamie. I felt a bit sorry for him. He can be a knob but he's very talented and was really trying. Worra cow.

BeHoHoHove · 06/12/2014 22:47

And in addition to being rude she made the snidey comment about Lenny Henry. He's not my favourite but it was uncalled for.

Nocturne123 · 07/12/2014 12:39

Couldn't believe how rude Victoria wood was . I would've polished off all of that food tv or not Grin

Mrscaindingle · 07/12/2014 16:58

I was also agahst at how rude VW was to Jamie, I have read that she is really shy but thats no excuse for not at least trying his food or having sly digs at him.

In all the show felt quite bitty really, agree Ian Mckellen was uncomfortable viewing letching over 1D, however there was no-one there apart from him who seemed like they wanted to be there.
