Lost series 3 - can it be downloaded from anywhere?

If you scroll down the page here on the left hand sign there's a button that says watch for free. You can also get the Desperate Housewives from there too. At least it says you can. I've never watched either program, but there are tons of commercials on the network saying how they are making the shows available to watch over the internet. Hope it works!!!

Well I saw the first episode a few days ago so guess it is available from somewhere!

My son downloaded the first episode last week. I'll ask him where he got it from and let you know later.

if you go to www.torrentspy.com you can search for a torrent file of it, you need software to download it (we like bitComet), and then you can burn it to DVD if you have a DVD player that plays various file formats, or watch it on your PC.

Of course, it's all highly illegal!

Bear in mind though that this series is shown in two parts, I think they have a ridiculous 4 month break in the middle.

I have a friend who downloaded series 2 - I thought it was illegal but she didn't (and she knows more about computers than I).
Is it illegal? (Not that I have the inclination to do it anyhow).

It is illegal, because the material is copywrite. But it's a pretty popular crime, and I don't really see the harm, personally.

(Then again, in Canada, it's not illegal, so I guess I'm just participating in my culture's normal behaviour?)

Saw it last night. I queried dh over it's legality and he said he has no problem with getting copies which have already been aired on TV (albeit in the US). He says it's equivalent in copyright terms to borrowing a video of a recorded TV prog - which if you're being really anal, you can't do either

Go to www.mininova.org - the episodes are shown in the US every wednesday night and get uploaded on Thursday mornings. It only started last Wednesday.

You'll need to download a programme such as utorrent which enables you to share the files.

I do not believe it,it's the wrong one . should have been season 3 episode1. It's an old episode from the last season
