I know, I'm only a couple of years behind!

But ah, Darren!

I felt he was the only one who didn't really want to be part of it & was trying to get out & the others were there through choice.

I know he was as bad as the others, but the poor sod never even seemed to get a decent life style from it all!

Hate Nidge!

He seems to be unravelling like John Boy did & teaming up with the already unhinged Fran will surely be a disaster!

John Boy was a git, but charismatic with it so a better lead character than Nidge imo.

Are 4 & 5 worth watching?

I watched seasons 4 and 5 in one weekend a couple of weeks ago! Thought the entire series improved as it went on to be honest. I agree about Darren, there was something slightly more compassionate in him compared to the others. Seriously, watch the rest of it, you won't regret it! I was able to stream them on Dailymotion.com

Ooh desperate really? Need to watch season 5, I can't find it on daily motion? I think love / hate is excellent

Only just realised that the actress who plays Siobhan was Martha in The Village & the woman who was kidnapped in Happy Valley.

4 and 5 are definitely worth watching. I went through a phase in season 4 where I was getting a bit peed off with it as I didn't really care about any of them anymore but that was just me being ornery I think, got back into it then.

I'm still watching, just started series 5-is that the last?

It's the last that's been made so far. (Claim to fame, BIL was the cinematographer on all the Spanish stuff, and a lot of the Irish stuff too :))

I think there's still discussion as to whether or not there'll be a sixth, think RTE are up for it if the writer, Stuart Carolan is - haven't heard anything about it recently.

Fran is a total psycho. Nidge is not much better.

Loathed his character so wouldn't watch.

Can't help feeling that people got what they deserved, (maybe not Fran though, even though I didn't like him!) , or Siobhan, but awful for the ones left behind.

I suppose that was the point, even though some of those left behind were happy enough to live the lifestyle!
