Just finished six feet under, what next?

I've just finished watching six feet under, that finale was emotional!
I thought it was brilliant, well written. If I enjoyed that what shall I watch next?

I have done:
Prison break (twice!)
Dexter
Luther
Sherlock
Currently half way through lost

So all fairly different!

I started under the dome but couldn't get into it. Is it worth another shot? What other series have you all hooked?

Many thanks!!

Fringe is definitely worth watching.

Emma0811x · 11/11/2014 13:18

Only one thing left!
Breaking Bad! Best series ever!
Grin

curlyhairedmonster · 11/11/2014 13:27

Ah! I'm currently halfway through Lost also...
Am I the only person finding it slightly confusing?? Confused

WowserBowser · 11/11/2014 13:32

24?

curlyhairedmonster · 11/11/2014 13:37

Dh keeps saying I should start 24, I do hear good things!
We are half way through season 4 of lost, it is pretty confusing with all the flash forwards/ flashbacks!

candykane25 · 11/11/2014 22:30

The West Wing.

Recovering · 11/11/2014 22:32

Oh I agree about the finale.

Elementary (American Sherlock?)
I've never found anything quite the same.

House
black books

PickleMobile · 11/11/2014 22:35

Ive just started rewatching Nip Tuck which is ok. I also recommend True Blood and Vampire Diaries but I seem to be an American teenager at heart!

WowserBowser · 11/11/2014 22:39

Nip Tuck is a blast from the past! It went really fucked up that.

I fancied Dr Christian. If that was his name Confused

Greys Anatomy

vjg13 · 12/11/2014 06:57

The Wire, Nurse Jackie? 24 is entertaining but a bit formulaic.

curlyhairedmonster · 12/11/2014 09:29

I watched a couple of episodes of greys anatomy last night, think I could get into it.
There's about 10 series though I think? Is it something that's easy to watch a few episodes here and there or will I get gripped and want to watch episode after episode??

Season 11 just started on Sky Atlantic
I got box set of 1-10 on Amazon for £65. You might get it cheaper on eBay

Nillia · 16/11/2014 18:07

Dead like Me. The series and then the films. Dark humour.

Nillia · 16/11/2014 18:09

Its all about Grim Reapers who are normal people with normal jobs but just have an extra job that is soul taking. Funny.

sillymillyb · 16/11/2014 18:09

Breaking bad is a must! Then in no particular order, 24, fringe, orange is the new black, the good wife..... I'm sure there are others.... Yes, The mentalit! Ooh this thread makes me want to goto bed with the laptop for a few days!

GoingToBedfordshire · 16/11/2014 18:16

Six feet under is still my favourite series ever.
Someone else mentioned Nurse Jackie and The Wire - highly recommend.

Have you seen Mad Men? The Sopranos?
