Can't find a thread already started. Did anyone watch this? Didn't like it at all, all seemed a bit chaotic the way the staff dealt with the patients.

I watched from catch up yesterday.

I found it quite moving. I was surprised at how many staff it takes to do some of the things.

I'm watching now on catch up, Dylan is doing so well , the poor man had a terrible upbringing, in fact that does seem to be the running theme-neglect and abuse, so sad.

I thought there were 2 parts but only found one part on itv player??

I used to think the same when watching programs like that .... my husband was in broadmoor for only 4 years luckerly ! Back ground he was abused every way from adoption to care homes to 3 others everyday people sexualy abusing him as a kid he grew up on isle of wight and was bang in the middle of the biggest scandal kids care home abuse ive only researched it in last month didnt know it was an officle investigation for 70s 80s all parts social workers care staff just noting in file never finding out , staff kid relationship all offically exposed obviously not real major charges to anyone ... anyway his childhood social worker told him when he was around 19 20 that one of his past sexual abusers was still active and they had 6 new children ... disgusting she would say that knowing full well the history... he ended up confronting this abuser to get him to stop all together ... the abuser said he couldnt and in fact he wasnt going too ... he ended up over a cliff .... went told social worker arrested charged ect .. he didnt boast at all but he didnt lie he just told them what haooen and showed them, he wasnt regretfully either the man wasnt going to stop .. so he just told them what and why and accepted that we get punished for killing (judge gave 4 years) .. after about a year the prison decided to ship him to broadmoor no notice (he did need therapy as so much growing up with no stability) but know what i know now from him and 1 other that ive spoken to no defo no.
Hes been out clear from all systems for 15 years now but broadmoor is sick really .... from that whole place (u only see 2 wards i beleive and tv room) ypud be lucky if a 5th where not wrongens (child killer, peados, rapists, serial killers, ) for example one of them is a second offender serial rapist this time 3 women and 2 of them had knives put up them after, one time in group work he said that the 3 tattoos where his latest women the he chuckled and said but i only enjoyed 1 of them .... this is no word of a lie if you raise ur voice just to an annoyance disgusted level not shouting they will be right on u to calm and other staff come in for back up just in case .... now the wrongens couldnt care less what freak show they wanna run behind doors but dont mix a handful of people that deserve that second chance with the scum no excuse for them types ... truth is they love all the fiddlers and horrific ones as they not dangerous.. yeah their crime sounds dangerous, but they not they do as they told no fuss shuffle around as they get fatter , meds ridiculous to the few that are worth the effort bad hig dosage straight away once for example my other half visited his doctor when he finanly came as the latest concoction was making his face spasm quite vigorous its common alot had it but he was one of the few trying to keep some life and not shuffle so he hated it first thing doctor ssid like always is .. u look well ... just plain 2 face ... he was over 2 stone heavier then last saw him and face spasm lol .... did u know for all these wrongens they have pat dogs , bbq days , fates , discos ... (they dont dance or talk they sit and just music blairs out at them .... they prevoke the ones that arnt total wrongens near release like they forced him to live on the high profile like sutcliffe/iam braiding ect and extrem some of them paedophile wing for a month every day sleep eat sitin tv room surrounded by scum that abused him and caused such even to this day issues ... take away that hes my husband so im bias ... i still think that is wrong and sick game to play i would hate it myself .... its not all nicey nicey like they showed every where some of them are good lads just teal bad situations .. good people can do bad things ... good people are never wrongens anyway didnt mean to rant lol hope you all keeping well x
