Agree. Very controlling.

The wife seemed to become more subservient and unsure of herself as the programme went on, looking to him for constant approval. It doesn't bode well for the future. Couldn't believe his domineering attitude & manner when he insisted that she wore flat shoes. What a pillock.

He needs to rewatch the programme and reflect.

I thought the same. At first it sounded like he was just concerned about here wearing heels when pregnant but it quickly became apparent he simply expected her to do as she was told without answering back.
