I found myself gasping a few times, and am completely at sea at the end of episode 2, which is what reactions are supposed to be, I think.

Anyone else see it? Tell me what you think.

Also felt baffled by it, but in a good way, thought it was really watchable and intriguing .... I absolutely love John Sim and thought he was great with an American accent! Thought the little girl was brilliantly creepy, can't wait to see how it develops!Shock

Creepy. Lots of questions. DH says it reminds him of the book 'Harry August'. It reminded me a bit of 'the returned' from c4 last year.

JuxtheDaemonVampire · 28/10/2014 01:56

It was a bit similar in atmosphere to The Returned, wasn't it?

I watched again on iPlayer as dh and dd were both out and got home towards the end of episode 2. DH wasn't very impressed and fell asleep, but dd really enjoyed it.

The girl is beautifully creepy. I would have liked to see a Christina Ricci smile like the one she prduced in Addams Family 2 whatever it was called, but that would have been a bit ham.

i thought it was a bit crap though i did miss the first 20 mins so i think i missed something imperative to the plot

OhGoveUckYourself · 28/10/2014 11:49

I thought this would by right up my street but I switched off after 30 minutes. I just didn't get interested enough in the characters or what was happening. Perhaps if it had concentrated more in the pilot episode on drawing you in with some background instead of flitting around from one place to the other I would have stayed with it.

scratchandsniff · 28/10/2014 11:54

I haven't watched the second episode yet, so need to give it a bit more of a chance, but it didn't really have me hooked.

I quite liked it but I have absolutely no idea what is going on. :o

I got completely lost in it, so may not bother. I have enough to do with trying to understand 'The Leftovers'. I can't cope with two hard to follow series.
