I've only watched the first one so far but I enjoyed it enough that I will watch the second one.

Panicmode1 · 19/10/2014 17:03

I caught up with eps 3 and 4 this morning - it is good and improves as it goes on!

Have watched all four episodes so far; it's worth it so far - I think I've become so used to British dramas that start off ok then deteriorate that I'm kind of anticipating the same of this one tbh but all good so far.

KatyMac · 19/10/2014 17:28

Thanks

I'm halfway through the first episode & quite enjoying it

Watched the first two and thought it was ace. Saving the next two for Friday.

Am really enjoying it. The actor who plays Jesse is fab.

GoldenKelpie · 19/10/2014 22:07

Oh goody, Katy. I was browsing BBC4 on iplayer today and wondered what was currently playing on Saturday nights 9pm (having watched all the Montelbanos, Spirals, Bridges etc Grin. Ok so no subtitles Sad but The Code, being Australian, is sort of foreign. Will start catching up later...

diddl · 20/10/2014 15:16

I'm completely hooked.

There's an actor in it who was also in something a few years ago called Love My Way which I also thought was great!

Echocave · 21/10/2014 22:39

DH keeps predicting what will happen before each scene and he's always right Hmm. He hasn't already seen it (he says!). So I've gone off it a bit - slightly clunky plot although acting good (apart from Evil Government Minister who seems to think he's in a panto).

diddl · 22/10/2014 08:54

I've seen ep5 as it's online.

Maybe he has seen more than you??

i love the two playing the brothers.

Sunnymeg · 22/10/2014 10:24

The actor playing the evil government minister reminds me of Ian Ogilvy!

clangermum · 22/10/2014 18:02

I spent two whole episodes thinking surely the editor can't be the ex judge off that dance comp - turns out he is

KatyMac · 22/10/2014 18:21

I knew I knew him!!

Where do I watch episode 5 then?

Just finished this series and loved it. Different from the usual Aussie dramas. And the city it is shot in is gorgeous.

imip · 27/10/2014 22:14

Yes, I enjoyed it also. I'm Australian, so it was nice to see familiar cultural references/accents. Lots of famous Australians in it, and Lucy lawless -zenia, warrior princess! The evil minister is David wenham, he was in Top of the lake recently (I think!)
