Well tonight s show was weird. KP? Self absorbed nonentity cricket player, John Cleese - eccentrically funny, Taylor Swift- just so "dead", Neil Diamond - rocking the slightly manic Manilow face Shock
The red chair guy was just about the most good looking primary school teacher ever Grin, was nothing like my DSs teachers, that's for sure.
Graham earned his salary tonight!

Next week looks great though, looking forward to those guests (apart from Bono cos he's a knob)

I didn't bother watching because I didn;t like the sound of any of the guests. Last time I saw Jc on anything he came over as rather bitter and harping on about his divorce, KP is v. self absorbed whenever I;ve seen him on anything, and I don;t really have a clue who Taylor Swift is.

last week was good though - I like Emma Thompson. and Hugh Grant although a bit of a knob, doesn't take himself seriously. No idea who the welsh guy was - hewas a bit dull.

Next week does look good though.

I only caught a bit of it (too late for me - I have to record it!) but it seemed really awkward. Mostly due to John Cleese; I thought Taylor Swift was going to storm off when he suggested there was something wrong with her cat!

Behoove · 11/10/2014 17:43

Ha Ha, yeah Norah, that was funny. Do not insult the cat Grin

Imagine the Kiwi guy being your da's teacher Grin Even Taylor Swift wanted to be introduced to him!

Stopmithering · 11/10/2014 17:46

Kevin Pieterson was odd. No wonder he has friendship ishoos.

Onedropoflove · 11/10/2014 20:31

I enjoyed it but then I watched it from start to finish.

Monroe · 11/10/2014 22:19

I usually love the show but I recorded this week's and found myself fast forwarding through most of it. I enjoyed last week's. Emma Thompson is always a good laugh.

For me the best one was with the cast of the monuments men. Bill Murray, Matt Damon and Hugh whatsit. It was hilarious

Davros · 12/10/2014 00:35

I watched it specially to see KP but thought he either has no sense of humour or was very nervous. He was a real disappointment, to my chagrin. John Cleese was strange, reading from his book and saying deliberately controversial things that were only moderately amusing. The best one was Taylor Swift amazingly. Fast forwarded through Neil Diamond who has definitely "had work".

Roll on next week.....

i loved it with emma thompson and hugh grant, they came over fantastically and of course bill murray, matt damon (grin) and um, er... who, Hugh?

but I thought Taylor Swift was really good actually, I liked her, having not previously Blush

R4roger · 12/10/2014 11:49

oh i remember Hugh Bonneville

Bowlersarm · 12/10/2014 11:53

That one was the best, R4roger, the one with Matt Damon etc. I must have watched it about four times.

I Skyplussed Fridays episode but I'm not watching it now after your comments; I 'm a Kevin Pietersen fan and I don't want to see him coming across as a tosser.

R4roger · 12/10/2014 11:55

i didnt think he was a tosser bowlers, but i dont think i was paying much attention to be fair, not knowing him.

Bowlersarm · 12/10/2014 11:57

That's good, roger. He is a difficult character in many ways, it seems. Bloody brilliant cricketer though.
