Has anyone else seen it?

Not sure about DC being back, but I'm hooked already!Hmm

What?! Where and when is it on?!

diddl · 05/10/2014 16:43

It's started again in USA & I've watched it online.

OP posts:
ILikeToClean · 05/10/2014 18:15

Aah I got all panicky thinking I'd missed it! It normally starts in the new year.

tribpot · 05/10/2014 18:30

Oh good - are we allowed to have a thread for people watching at the US pace? If yes, I think we ought to change the name of this thread to prevent people from clicking on the link, assuming C4 are starting early this year and accidentally reading spoilers?

I will say, though, this season is looking to be at least as barking as the last one.

diddl · 05/10/2014 21:04

Well I'd quite like to discuss it!

OP posts:
whatevermaycome · 05/10/2014 21:17

Looks from the trailer for tonight that emily will tell charlotte she's her sister

diddl · 05/10/2014 21:20

should I start a new thread or asl MNHQ to alter title of this one?

OP posts:
tribpot · 05/10/2014 21:35

I'd ask MNHQ to alter the title.

It seems like the right time for Emily to tell Charlotte, esp with Charlotte being such a pain in the arse about having been kidnapped - by the standards of Revenge she was lucky to get away without being kidnapped before the end of S3.

Nolan's suit at the Memorial Day party may be the highlight of the season - after only one ep!

diddl · 05/10/2014 21:45

ok, have done that.

Yes, Nolan's suit & hair!

Are he & Ems about to fall out?

And WTF has happened to Margaux's hair??!!

OP posts:
tribpot · 05/10/2014 21:51

Yes, Margaux and Nolan seem to have visited the same hairdresser, but only one of them got custody of the hair gel.

They seem to be having the fairly usual tension between his desire to do good and hers to go apeshit at the least provocation. I'm not sure why he imagines with Aiden dead Emily will really think 'ah well, I'll put it all behind me and move on'. The woman spent three series avenging the death of someone who isn't (apparently) dead for god's sake!

cupofsneeze · 05/10/2014 21:54

I'm still waiting for series 3 on box sets.

I only started watching series 1 when S3 had already started on C4 so i missed out Angry

tribpot · 05/10/2014 22:02

cupofsneeze, I don't think this is the thread for you! Unless you don't mind spoilers.

cupofsneeze · 05/10/2014 22:07

I am screwing my nose up and throwing a cyber strop Grin

I will avoid this thread!

diddl · 06/10/2014 07:02

so, where was DC hiding all the time & did he pay the white haired man not to kill him?

When Emily answered the phone to Victoria & shut the door in her face-hahahahaha!

but Victoria leaving the young girl thereSad

And Jack a copShockHmm

Has it jumped the shark?

OP posts:
tribpot · 06/10/2014 08:05

Thing is, Revenge is a show that almost by definition can't jump the shark. Even putting Victoria on water skis and having her jump over a shark wouldn't seem that far fetched by its standards.

That said, the resurrection of DC takes some beating. He has to have been somewhere where he couldn't intervene through all of Emily's trials, but as Victoria has demonstrated, there is nowhere from which a member of the Revenge cast cannot escape.

diddl · 06/10/2014 08:10

I suppose with Emily/Amanda having been in juvi & then the name change he might not have been able to keep tabs on her anyway-that's even if he wasn't in hiding!!

He was a convicted terrorist as well!

So I'm thinking that Victoria wants revenge for Pascal's death, for which she blames Emily.

will Charlotte even care that ems is her sister??

OP posts:
diddl · 06/10/2014 08:22

And there I am trying to make sense of a non-sensical programme!BlushGrin

OP posts:
tribpot · 06/10/2014 09:14

Yes - always problematic Grin It would be nice if it had some internal consistency, however mad the plot is.

I'm trying to remember how Nolan knew Emily was actually Amanda. Or indeed whether Emily's mother recognised her, or rather failed to recognise Fauxmanda. I have a feeling at least for a while she was convinced Fauxmanda was the real deal.

whatevermaycome · 06/10/2014 10:51

Nolan knew immediately that Emily was Amanda - he was one of the few people that knew what she looked like 'grown up' as he met her outside Juvy to give her the infinity box and half of his money as DC was his only investor at the start as he believed in Nolan (hence the loyalty.)

Amanda's mum never did realise Emily was her real daughter.

I'm guessing from last night that charlotte is not feeling the sisterly love.

DC is using the old chestnut 'it's not safe to know what happened/ where I've been.)

Loving Victoria convincing DC to kill Emily for her.

diddl · 07/10/2014 13:49

DC isn't really being taken in by Victoria's crap, is he?

I wonder if there are still records of Amanda being locked away as a child.

it wouldn't take him long to find out, would it?

OP posts:
diddl · 07/10/2014 13:49

What I also can't help wondering is why now he is free he hasn't been in touch with Nolan!

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 07/10/2014 17:49

La la la la la

Blondes shuts eyes and ears lol

Roll on jan

tribpot · 08/10/2014 07:33

Yes, I like the idea of DC in thrall to Victoria, working to bring down the one person who's been trying to avenge him all these years. Did she start planting the seeds last night that Emily might be a crazy person trying to assume the life of Amanda?

Oblomov · 08/10/2014 19:31

eh?
was on the old thread. how are you watching the US version?
please give an idiots guide of which website I have to go to, to catch up.
