The Walking Dead. How did I miss this, it's brilliant!

Watched three series back to back over the past week. How GOOD is this show? I was always very meh about the concept but it's one of the best things I have seen. I love Daryl and Rick. Never could stand Andrew Lincoln right from when he was Egg in This Life but he's not Andrew Lincoln, he IS Rick. Just waiting for Season 4 to come on sky box sets now.

I'm waiting for it to come onto sky on demand but am very close to buying the DVD as I need to carry on watching!

I'm waiting for season 4 to come out on DVD next month. We watched the last season again just to get us in the mood. It is very very good. David Morrissey is very scary as The Governor.

They are playing series 4 on one of the channel 5 channels at the moment, they are all on their catch up service. 5 on demand I think? We've been watching them all through the x box Wink Smile

Oh god how I envy you! Love, love, love this show. Bizarrely I got really fed up halfway through the second series, we stopped watching for a while, then instead of picking up where we left off we went straight to season 3 to being up to date. Then I persuaded DH to watch the WHOLE THING from the very beginning to include what we'd missed in season 2 - oh that was pretty awesome!

Roll on October.

I can't stand the gore- I just watch for the psychological drama. I just turn my head away when they start hacking and shooting.

Don't get it
If you're attacked/bitten by a walker you die, then come back as a zombie, so why are there dead bodies strewn all around?
They've just got to the CDC

Because they were shot in the head or had a brain injury that meant they couldn't come back or were stopped as zombies. Also I think, but I might be wrong that if they bleed to death, then they can't come back either so if some zombie gets you by the jugular or an artery then that's it, you bleed out.

I've just found out that Season four starts on demand on the 1st October (yay!) so I will be able to watch that and then start season five with everyone else, up to speed.

I don't want to be a spoiler because of a huge secret that comes out after they go to the CDC...But this has always bothered me. You either get eaten fully, or turn, no?
