I'm two episodes in and quite spooked. The ruggedly handsome doc is often naked, which stops me hiding completely behind a cushion. Anyone else watch this?

Yes. Right at the beginning. The creepy '50's neighbour is scarier than the Thing in the basement.

Can't wait for Season 4!!

Season 2 is the best IMO.

Does is get scarier? Because I don't think I'll like it if it does.

It does get quite weird and freaky.
If you don't like scary, honestly, I'd avoid Season 1 and 2.
Season 3 isn't that bad. Enjoyable but not as good as the first 2.

series 2 is that the one with the nuns

Season 2 is definitely the best. Sister Mary-Satan Also loved S1. Got bored of S3 halfway through.

What is S4 about?

Agree that Season 2 was the best. But closely followed by Season 1. Season 3, whilst quite enjoyable, was just not in the same league.

Season 4 is apparently on the theme of 'Freak Show'. I hope it gets back to top form again.

Agree about Season 2. Completely twisted, grisly and dark.
Season 3 had so much potential to be good, but got lost early early on and turned into a 'teen' drama. A real shame.

I found that the first couple of EPs scared me witless but the rest of the series was tolerably scary. The thing in the basement still hauts me now

Also series 2 is bonkers and series 3 is gross! :-)

I'll just say the thing in the basement scene actually frightened the living shite out of me, and I don't scare easily.

Am I the only one who finds it utterly amusing? I expected to be scared, find it great to watch, but funny!

Does anyone have any clue when series 3 will be on Netflix? Keep checking but it's not shown up yet (hoping it will be on in time for my pre-baby maternity leave in November)

Tallalime as mentioned previously the theme is Freak Show; Sarah Paulson is playing conjoined twins and Jessica Lange plays a German woman who owns the last travelling "Freak Show" in the USA in the 1950s (poss. 1960s?).

I liked season 1 but only managed 2 episodes of season 2 before I got bored.

I loved the first season but then didn't ever really get in to seasons 2 and 3.

I've watched the teasers for season 4. Fuck. Me.

Love this series so much and have thought all the seasons were really good. I'm very excited for Season 4 - I think it will be the last one Jessica Lange does - can't imagine it without her :(

I thought the first series was the best due to more dark humour, the 'you have got to be kidding' moments. The second series took me longer as it was so dark and much more macabre. Haven't seen series 3 yet thanks to bloody Netflix.

I totally love Jessica Lange.

I have just finished season 1 and I loved it, it gets less creepy and more funny after the first few episodes.

I watched some of the first episode but it scared me so much I couldn't watch anymore. I thought it would just be a bit spooky but clearly I'm no good with actual horror. (Massive wimp)
