Do PWBs really, honestly think the producers have a preferred winner?

Every year, on both BB and CBB, people talk about the tv company editing in favour of a particular HM. I just don't see what they gain from one person winning over another?

I am 100% certain they edit for viewing figures...what they think will pull in viewers getting more airtime, manipulating scenes to make things seem feistier/funnier/snide/sexier. I'm not convinced at all that they give two hoots who wins the show though.

Why isn't the main topic of conversation "why are the HMs all ganging up on Gary?".

Iv gone off George. A clip on cbb channel 5 shows him moaning how Gary has ruined the whole bb experience.
