A bit I suppose. They just have some celeb or kiddies presenter read a story for 5 mins or so and thats it. Not as long as Jackanory.

It's just an hour of ordinary programming with the studio in semi-darkness and the odd bedtime story told by a celebrity (half of whom you've never heard of).

I saw something the other day that said they were bringing Jackanory back to CBBC ... I bet it's not as good as we remember it being ...

Well yes, in so far as its a story often read by a famous face. But no, in that its only 5 mins long and for much much smaller kids. I heard they were bringing back Jackanory. I'm really looking forward to it - think they should just show the best of the old ones like Rik Mayall doing Geotges Marvellous Medicine (off topic: does anyone know if you can get that on DVD?)
