I've completely forgotten what it was she was in before Emmerdale...was it Cutting It with Declan?

But charity will still come up smelling of roses, with everyone being sympathic and she'll have home farm now too!

She was I think. Wasn't she in Corrie too?

Charity always gets away with it. If Declan dies will she get everything and be all lady of the Manor?

I hope Declan lives. (I know he is a verrrrrrrry bad guy).

Yep, Home farm will be all hers now.
Declan did phone about the prenup but I think he got told it was watertight unless she broke the clause about fidelity.

Are pre nups legal in the UK though.

I'm hoping that Declan has escaped somehow, and will reappear in Emmerdale, sometime. I didn't think much of Robbie, so I can't feel too sorry for him being dead.

A lot of the storylines don't need actual spoilers though, do they? They do tend to leave lots of clues and hints. I must say Declan & Robbie have excellent swimming skills!

They sure do. A lot of excellent swimmers in Emmerdale, remember Cameron and co that time in The Woolpack cellar.

I wasn't expecting Robbie to be shot, I'm not sorry though, Megan will have no one left now if Declan is a goner, so maybe he changed his will and left everything to Megan, can you imagine Charitys face if that happened

I agree about the swimming skills, and the leap out of the water that Robbie did, nothing short of gymnastic

I am a big Cain fan, however why does he always manage to be out of the country when these things happen? Maybe he can't swim

Now it looks like Declan might not be dead. I'm wondering if his body isn't found, does that mean Charity can't take over Home Farm?

I think the Will couldn't be finalised for 7 years if someone goes missing presumed dead but no body.

Which means................................he could sneak back (at Hallowe'en and Christmas) to terrify Charity until she leaps out of the window like Tom King did (her ex- fiance)

Script writers , if you;re reading this..there's scope for another story like Ray Mullan when he stalked Louise.

And as a totally irrelevant thought - the house where Jimmy and Nicola live. Rodney lived there before. Ray Mullens used to live there.

I presume when someone moves in, the house is empty. Do they not look at that dreadful dark grey/green woodwork and think " That HAS to go" ?

I want Declan to haunt Charity.
I'm betting she will have herself ensconced as lady of the manor, in no time. Would love to see her spooked at every turn, not knowing that he is still hanging around.
If he does reappear, at some stage, I suppose it's her word against his, about what went on at the cottage, and in the lake. I just remembered though, he killed Robbie. Could claim it was accidental, I suppose.

They usually do big story lines in October, so I expect something will happen then. The Sam/ Rachel thing has to come out at some point surely

How big is that lake? surely if there is another body they should find it?
Charity may have to wait to have him declared dead but she can run the place/ live in it/play lady of the manor til that happens.
If he does reappear he'll be going inside for trying to kill her, poisoning Noah, killing Robbie. There again she gets home farm in the divorce (because of the prenup) and him out of her hair.
My guess is that they'll be some sort of stalkery cat and mouse game with everyone wondering if Declan is coming back to finish the job. (although will probably end up being some sort of revenge plan from Megan).

Given the swimming skills Declan displayed, I'm guessing he is far far away now
