Pity Joanie didn't die as I find her an irritating character. Have always wondered why Ruby's partner Ali has been gone for such a long time on a very flimsy storyline.

Not sorry to see the back of Ross either to be honest - I don't find the bad boy thing attractive at all,

Ooh I watched Fridays properly on catch up.

The Eric/Val scene was a lovely (if a bit WTF ) touch Grin bit like Jack and Vera in Corrie.
Some actors do heartwrenching emotion really well, others don't. Eric from Emmerdale and Ian Beale from Eastenders do.
Chrissie reminds me of "Chuckie" from Childs Play when she's angry. Grin

Is this the death count then or are we going to lose more over the next week when the Village Hall is searched Sad

There are still loads on The List that are unaccounted for- Jai for one. Rachel (though I don't think she'll go as we lost Ruby)
Lockie+/- his hat

And apparantly Megan has news to look forward to........

There was a scene on Thurs/Friday when Kerry said something to Dan about Rachel and he said she was upstairs crying.

I had mixed feelings about Friday's episode, having Val reappearing, after her great (and very typical Val) exit. The scene with Eric and Val was very good, though, and I guess it was fitting for them to have a final scene together, even if she was only a figment of his imagination / a ghost or whatever Grin.

Was there any mention of telling Ali about Ruby? Dan mentioned Rachel, and about having to tell Amelia. Ali will be Misery Guts personified now. Hope she moves away, for good, and leaves Amelia with Dan and Kerry.

Lachie and his hat are safe at Home Farm 70s. Chrissie asked him to go to his room, when she screeched her way back there with Robert Grin.

Ali's permanent scowl and angry growl are not missed by me. She seems to be playing the same character as she did in Shameless. But in shameless it worked, in emmerdale it's just grating.

Jai planted drugs in the house, that he owns, then told Rachel she and Sam could move back in. The house was searched, and the drugs were found.
I forget the exact details, I think a social worker featured, but he was able to take Archie, for now, because of the drugs find.
Megan is plotting against him, in the meantime.

Completely agree re Ali. I would have preferred if she was killed off, instead of Ruby, but I guess she wouldn't have been able to portray anything except her usual sour faced misery.

Ross (rather miraculously) escaped from the van/lake. He then hoofed it back to village, saw the smoke and devastation, and somehow managed to teleport to the hospital as Pete brought Debbie in.
Ross and Pete fought, Ross fell and hit the back of his head on the edge of a pavement, Pete bundled him into the back of his car and buried him in the woods without anyone seeing any of it.

Oh yes, Ross and Pete have a fight in what I assume is the hospital grounds and there's No-One there.
No CCTV?
No Porters?
No-one having a fly ciggie?

What happened to the first "Baby Archie" who Jai 'bought' in the carpark?

They probably put fake Archie back into the soap kid cupboard Grin.

I also wonder if the fight that took place between Pete and Ross in the hospital will be checked into, at some point, and followed up, by the police. I presume suspicion will fall on Cain first anyway.

Megan went away with fake Archie, as far as I remember. Then she gave up, or got tracked down, and he was handed back to social services/police.

I'm not watching anymore. The fight btw Ross and Pete was a pathetic story line like Pete would not have run for help being at a hospital. And then took him in the boot of his car and buried him. I don't like that Vanessa thinks its someone else's baby she's carrying. Jai is just getting away with all sorts of nonsense .

I agree Agatha, not very good at all, I find I couldn't care less about Rachel, Jai and Archie, I feel for Sam, she is physically abusing him and he doesn't know what to do Sad I hope he has the strength to leave her.

I think it's time for Megan to go for good, its just a repetitive storyline, and Jai doesn't deserve her (or anyone for that matter) he needs to go as well.

I'm dreading Ali coming back, awful character, can't stand her, the face on her will be too painful to look at, and then there will be the whinging and the blaming of Dan and Kerry for not keeping Ruby alive Angry

Exactly, Ellenora. I pity Archie, neither of his parents are decent human beings, and the story has dragged way too long. I hope Sam moves out, for good, and that he tells someone what has been going on.

I'm hoping Ali won't reappear, or if so, not for long.

Yay! Jai finally gets his comeuppance. Storey line over, hopefully.

Is anyone else have a sneaking suspicion hope Ross might come back into it?

I don't know why, something about the way the body was put in the forest and this being soap land makes me think Ross might not be dead. I am well aware this could just be wishful thinking on my part Blush.

Not sure about Ross? I mean if he wanted to leave why not just write him out. Why Kill him off ? There is an online petition so it seems he's very popular .

Great to see Jai getting a bit of grief, at last!
I think Ross probably couldn't have stayed around anyway, either Cain or Pete would have done him in, after everything, if he had stayed around.
Well, Pete did, but I think it wasn't what he intended, at the time.
True, they needn't have killed him off though.
