The previous one ended where they made the announcement about the little boy Harry ( who played Leo)

So, a new one.

The Wedding (Dan and Kerry)
The desperate attempts of Pria to get married off
The bloke Who tried to kill Finn (who was he) and why is Finn in anguish ?

The female vicar Harriet who is harbouring a huge crush on Ashley
Sam and Tracy

It's limping along.

This is why I think Emmerdale outdoes the other soaps, a lot of the time. I had read that Charity was going to drop a bombshell, suspected she might be pregnant, but no, even better, here's the baby Grin!
Trying to think back now, Declan decided to kill her after he found out about the abortion, and they went away for a 'holiday'.
I can't remember who else she was with after that. I think they are trying to make us think it's Cain's, although I don't remember if they were together anytime before she went to prison.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 12/06/2015 12:54

The look on Ross's face when Debbie told him, he was doing some rapid mental arthithmatic Grin

Sorry, but the Charity baby storyline is a bit ridiculous. Now we will have a tedious drawn-out saga till we find out who the unfortunate father is

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 14/06/2015 10:21

Who are the prospective fathers?
Can Debbie authorise a DNA test on the baby as presumably she is in loco parentus

Will she use the same firm as Vanessa for results?

What happened with the paternity results for Vanessa? There was a letter that the lawyer (Kirin's dad) got hold of and altered , but did Vanessa get a copy?

OP posts:
BelindaBagwash · 14/06/2015 11:24

I think the letter that Kirin's dad altered was Vanessa's copy as he stole it off her table when Laila went upstairs and then put it through the letter box later.

I would guess the prospective fathers are Declan, Cain, jai and possibly Ross. To be honest, Charity has slept with so many men I can't keep track so may have missed a couple of candidates!!

olbas · 14/06/2015 12:15

One thing that Emmerdale does well is the unexpected, so there is going to be a "Ay what" moment to this. Charity is devious, she doesn't really do anything unless it to her benefit and she usually gets what she wants. She wants Cain...how would she get him, why didn't she just keep this baby a secret and hand him over to SS straight away. Why has she involved Debbie. How long does sperm live for in a condom???

AgathaChristie01 · 14/06/2015 12:38

I agree, olbas and that's what I enjoy about Emmrdale.
Another thing that strikes me is, everyone must be amazingly fertile Grin.

elbowsdontsing2 · 17/06/2015 15:01

as anyone else noticed how many of the women have left their dcs.
charity left debbie(brought up in care i think)
debbie left sarah
kerry left her daughter(cant remember her name)
chasity left arron
megan left that troll looking guy
all them in one little village

elbowsdontsing2 · 17/06/2015 16:23

oh and kerrys daughter left her baby in the phone box
blimy i think i need to get out more

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 17/06/2015 21:17

Bernice left Gabby with Ashley then came back leaving DeeDee on the other side of the world !

OP posts:
TheJunctionBaby · 17/06/2015 22:45

And barely a mention of poor DeeDee since!

cherrytree63 · 17/06/2015 23:27

I thought Amy had snatched her little boy and ran off with him, so how come he's back with the adoptive gran?

Ellenora5 · 18/06/2015 00:03

She did take him cherrytree and went to get a ferry but she didn't take him on board, I think Cain and the granny spotted him in the buggy as the ferry sailed away but I could be wrong.

On another note, the scenes with Charity and Debbie and Cain, they must have been filmed before she went on mat leave surely, she wouldn't be due back yet I don't think.

Emma is getting more bonkers by the second, why doesn't someone tell her to just leave, nobody wants her around.

It's so true about all the abandoned kids, I think Andy was left behind all those years ago aswell and that's how Jack and Sarah ended up adopting him.

olbas · 18/06/2015 19:31

Oh for goodness sake Cain! Put her down Grin

Jojoanna · 18/06/2015 19:54

That's ridiculous !

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 19/06/2015 00:03

I watched a bit on catch up, Rachel really gets on my tits very last nerve.
As an actress her facial expression goes from Hmm to that weirdy, face down, scrunched eyes looking at the floor thing she does.

The scene with poor Sam (when she slapped him ) was painfully bad

Only watching sporadically at the moment, but as regards Rachel, give me strength. I cannot stand her.
I know Charity is the b1tch from hell (and one of my favourite characters) but the day she got rid of Rachel and her stupid looking jacket that she seemed to wear from dawn to dusk, I cheered aloud.

Please scriptwriters, make her go away!

orangefusion · 25/06/2015 19:15

Oh yes. Cain, swoon.

orangefusion · 25/06/2015 22:00

I shouted at the TV tonight, Cain was superb in finally sorting out Robert. The whole two ep session was gripping. Or at least as gripping as soap gets. Loving watching Robert get his final comeuppance.

SlatternIsMyMiddleName · 25/06/2015 22:23

Oh Cain

AgathaChristie01 · 25/06/2015 22:51

Oh Cain, .
The scene between Cain and Aaron, at the end, was brilliant. Go, Emmerdale! It's the best.

Ellenora5 · 25/06/2015 23:25

Oh my god, that was bloody brilliant, emmerdale does it again, it is so much better than any other soap, Cain was fantastic, we have been missing his bad boy side for ages, I hate Robert, he got what he deserved, and then the end of it with Aaron telling Cain..........well I won't lie ladies, I shed a tear, he's such a tortured young man, oh sorry I'm waffling but best episode for a long time, the acting was superb

Corrie writers please take note, this is how it should be done

AgathaChristie01 · 26/06/2015 12:49

I missed a lot of episodes recently, but was so glad that I saw last night's. Can someone tell me please why Robert was out to stop the wedding? It's probably for some reason that I know of, but just can't think.

Robert is actually a good character, well, he is horrible, evil personified, and I love to hate him. Grin.
When he returned first, (with a new head), I hoped he would get killed off quickly, but he has had some cracking storylines since his return. The night he and Andy were in the jeep, at the top of the cliff, when Andy wanted to kill himself, was a brilliant scene.
Andy seems to have made a good recovery from Katy's death...

The look on Cain's face last night when Aaron told him about the affair - priceless!

SlatternIsMyMiddleName · 26/06/2015 13:48

I might have missed why Robert was so determined to stop the wedding as I don't recall anything specific other than he is a control freak who doesn't think Adam is good enough for his sister.

I'm happy to stand corrected if there is more to it than that.

I thought Aaron's acting was brilliant, the emotion on his face when he told Cain, wow.

In relation to the baby daddy storyline, I had thought it was Ross on the basis of believing Cain when he said he wasn't his and Declan is out of it. Thus leaving Ross in the picture, but is it looking too obvious now?

Jojoanna · 26/06/2015 13:53

Really enjoyed the storyline excellent acting from Cain Aaron and Robert last night.
