Chicago PD anyone?

This is a gritty US police drama I've just discovered (a Dick Wolf thing). Anyone else enjoying it?

I enjoyed it. A couple of the episodes work better if watched in sync with Chicago Fire.

I'll look out for Chicago Fire, then - thanks for the suggestion, different.

Oh when is this on? I love Chicago Fire so I've been waiting for the police version

We love Chicago PD , watched last weeks episode and it was really good. However last nights episode seemed out of sequence , as the storyline from last week seemed to have been dealt with in the "previously" bit at the start of the show . Anyone else notice this ?

oldmum22 the storyline was Erin's friend was murdered, yes? The hunt for the serial killer faded away but the storyline about having the memorial stone for Erin's friend was ace. I love Jason Beghe. Chicago PD is my favourite along with Ripper St. Last ep of current series of CPD this Thursday tho.
Chicago Med starts soon.

Chicago PD did a crossover with Law and Order SVU where the hunt for the killer was resolved. That might explain why things seemed out of sequence?

Thank you Stitchglitched for that info, I will look at Law and Order SVU and see if I can get that episode . I love it when there is a crossover between between CPD and Chicago Fire, good fun .

oldmum22 that was the last ep in series 2 yes. I think there's a series 3. I really hope so. It's fantastic.
Also on the way from across the pond is Chicago Med (as I said earlier, lol)
However, the CMO is played by S.Epatha Merkerson, cop bosslady on Law & Order. So how's that going to work, then?

Just told DH what was happening re casting, and he reckons maybe they have made the CMO a twin of the cop lady !! Talk about thinking about it too much .

I've always loved her name too. Wikipedia tells us her 1st name is Sharon. Also Law & Order finished in 2010, leaving Epatha (Sharon, Sharon Epatha??) free to start filming Chicago Med this year.
We are still ploughing through the Law & Order series on 5USA.
