Boss - anyone watch?

I've just finished watching season 2 today & feel thoroughly disturbed! It's one of those shows I feel weirdly compelled to watch but it's so dark & he is so vile, it really makes me wonder - is it entirely fictional? Or are politicians that corrupt ?

I watched half of series one and was disgusted with myself

Also with all the muttering and everyone looking the same I was not entirely sure what was going on.

And the violence and the sex

I know but I found it weirdly intriguing & do wonder if I'm so naive not to realise that's just how cut throat politics is, or actually it's totally fictional & everything is actually ok!

With all the crap that keeps appearing in the news here about cover ups, I'm worried that this programme is actually based on some sort of reality [i do realise I'm over thinking this ]

I think I only watched the 1st ep & hated it.

He had found out he was ill, someone had followed him I think & he thought that his doc had blabbed.

I can't remember what he did to her, but I didn't watch any more after that.

I really liked it! The sex was way over the top but the acting was excellent. Didn't understand why Emma suddenly realized he was her long lost brother and had to look for evidence though

I thought she just went looking as she was suspicious of him & then found that - horrible! Can't imagine why he'd want to have sex with her knowing she's his sister?? I understand getting closer but actual sex - euww!!
