I'm sure there was a thread going but can't find it. Poor poor couple.

So Linda Barker has Him making a lampshade out of plastic spoons and Her spray painting the room dark purple.
Mdf is out in force.

Jeans into bean bags is ok.

Ah well at least my cat is enjoying it with me!

Just seen that you've been chatting to yourself :) I watched the last half hour. Is a plastic spoon lampshade safe? The quality of the finish concerns me. I quite liked the kitchen but not keen on the living / dining room, the bathroom sink or the bedroom really.

Hadn't thought about the safety! It's not exactly kite marked!

Bedroom was just as much of a squoosh as before, just side on. Aquarium dressing table another massive accident waiting to happen.

But it didn't cost 5k did it. It cost nearly 6.

What about the dust on the lampshade, how would you clean it?

I imagined the lampshade melting! There was nothing wrong with the lounge/dinre before - it was kept as 2 "zones" which supposedly hadn't worked.

LB's own house which appears frequently in magazines is a pallette of creams and whites with the odd touch of duck egg blue - her bold colours on TV shows make me laugh.

At least the couple didn't get Laurence Llewellyn Bowen!

There is no way I'd spend 5/6K on that lot. I'd want something really special for my money not decor made out of plastic spoons, a fish tank and a whole lot of mdf.

Suddenly this old episode of the Adam & Joe show doesn't seem so far fetched! :) It even involved cutlery!
