Big scrap last night

Last night's episode was brilliant. I can't believe Kelly actually attacked Abby, and I don't see how she can come back now. I also felt rather sorry for Melissa and Maddie having to take the flak for doing the duet. Why shouldn't they dance? Christi was simply jealous that her child would be beaten, as she was.

Can you tell I spend too much time thinking about this?

Kelly and her girls are no longer on the show. Kelly has been charged with assault and last I heard was sueing Abby Lee and Lifetime.

I did feel sorry for Melissa on Monday, because she was put in an impossible position, but the way Abby treats Chloe is tantamount to bullying. They are children at the end of the day.

My daughter is a competition dancer and if her teacher spoke to me, or her, the way Abby speaks to and about her dancers and their mothers we would definitely be leaving her studio.

That said, it is compelling viewing and on series record in our house!

Who do you think I'd the best dancer? I'm no expert, but Maddie does look the best, followed by Chloe. The only really nice mom on the site is Holly, though I must confess Jill had grown on me.

Personally (and partly because she reminds me of my own Dd) I prefer Chloe to Maddie. I can see technical errors in Maddies dances and I am not keen on her facial expressions that Abby harps on about.

Chloe seems to me more sincere in her performances. A natural expression that shines through.

Having said that I do think Maddie is given better choreography. And often better costumes.

I also have a soft spot for Mackenzie.

Chloe is such a lovely, gentle girl that I think it's hard not to like her. I do think Maddie's dancing is slightly better, but as I said, I'm no expert. I'm a bit astonished that the moms pay so much to have their daughters put through all this. What's in it for them? Are they really likely to have a career in dance at the end of it all?[

It is interesting, though, in the earlier series when Abby took the girls to audition for the Jofrey Ballet school that Chloe was the one that was offered the summer course scholarship. And Chloe won the national title too.

They are all stunning girls, and beautiful dancers. The trouble is, with dance it tends to come down to personal opinion, whereas in sport the winner is usually the one that wins the race!

Maddie dances a huge solo in Sia's video for Chandelier. She's great!! V good actor.

Abby is a psycho, I've not seen the attack episode but I'm not surprised, she's a bitch!
