Drama !

Hello lovely !

I got very cross and frustrated.

I even posted elsewhere and told a bloke to feck off and grow a pair. Blush

Coming in to be unpopular (can't watch Shrieky).

  1. Wall to wall sunshine here (just outside Eastbourne) all day.
  1. I think Beckham is quite fit - but agree about the jacket.
  1. Rafa is going to have to sharpen up in first sets next week.
  1. Murray to win!!
DramaAlpaca · 28/06/2014 16:30

Grin at MrsV taking out her frustrations on the rest of MN!

Raahh · 28/06/2014 16:35

MrsV- that's funny. Grin

They are bigging up this Riske person. She probably doesn't stand a chanceGrin

Raahh · 28/06/2014 16:35

Although, she has a break, and I would love to see Shrieky go out.

MrsVamos · 28/06/2014 16:39

magi

1 Envy

2 Bleurgh

3 Nonsense. Its how he plays. Always has.

4 Hmmm. We shall see. He will need to sharpen up as will Novak against an actual, proper opponent.

Sorry !

Hmmm. Raahh Riske 3-1 up.

MrsVamos · 28/06/2014 16:44

Is there any other play going on ?

Fancy Serena's opponents chances this afternoon.

MrsV

I am offended - I've told you before not to apologise! I love a bit of tennis banter & rivalry!

WTF they aren't playing tomorrow, I don't know. We then could have all descended on Wimby as it would be open house for tickets.

MrsVamos · 28/06/2014 16:54

magi

Sorry. Grin

Oh.My.Word ! What an amazing idea !

Probably why they wont !

Oooh.

It could go into a 3rd Monday ?

I'd be well up for that !

OP posts:
HarveySchlumpfenburger · 28/06/2014 16:59

No it can't go into a 3rd Monday. I've got to go into work that Monday. I've got this week off.

MrsVamos · 28/06/2014 17:07

But you'll be unwell. 24 hour bug. Wink

OP posts:
HarveySchlumpfenburger · 28/06/2014 17:15

At this rate I probably will. But unless I wish to be staring at my P45 it's not really an option.

MrsVamos · 28/06/2014 17:18

Oh, bless you, lovely.

I do wish we had an [ ice cream ] emoticon.

I LOVE cake and ice cream.

OP posts:
Raahh · 28/06/2014 17:19

MrsVamos · 28/06/2014 17:24
Grin

I did have a very faint hope initially.

Ah well. Always next round...

OP posts:
MrsVamos · 28/06/2014 17:29

Herr Federer next.

Do we all have our stop watches ready, ladies ?

10 seconds remember...Wink

OP posts:
rhubarbcrumbleplease · 28/06/2014 17:32

MrsV what's the 10 seconds please?

Raahh · 28/06/2014 17:33
Hmm shame.

Yes, Fed and his 10 seconds between points. He'll regret that.

And i don't think they are really signing their names- just a scribble

MrsVamos · 28/06/2014 17:36

rhubarb

After his last match, he was asked about players taking time between serves. Most pundits took it to be a dig at Rafa, who takes longer than most.

Roger said he sees no reason why it should be longer than 10 seconds, to keep play flowing and so spectators and tv audiences don't get bored.

Twat.

Consensus is that Roger is wrong.

OP posts:
magimedi · 28/06/2014 17:41

I'd be up for third Monday, if it came to it!

Play about to start on outside courts - hope they get lots of matches done.

Off to watch Roger & it's Wine o'clock (gin even!) Grin

rhubarbcrumbleplease · 28/06/2014 17:42

OK thanks. But I agree with him, not keen on all that faffing.

MrsVamos · 28/06/2014 17:42

Wine o clock just started ?

Oops.

OP posts:
MrsVamos · 28/06/2014 17:46

rhubarb

Can't back up arguement in a hard match or after a long rally though.

Its not always faffing, and it most certainly is not just Rafa.

There should also be the same time between points in ALL tournaments/slams.

I think its an argument that will rumble on, because no-one seems willing to do anything about it. Unfortunately.

OP posts:
Raahh · 28/06/2014 17:46

Oh look it's Giraldo.

He beat Murray in Madrid, btw Wink

Raahh · 28/06/2014 17:47

See, Sue said it too...
