Humbling and incredibly hard to watch but this goes on every day. The only thing (to me, in my ignorance) more frightening of going experiencing this yourself would be seeing a loved one go through it. I watched my Aunt die of a terminal illness and I hope she felt our love to the end. What did you think if you watched it?

I thought Junior's partner was being VERY harsh. The way she insisted on informing Junior's dad- abruptly- I just could not understand it!
I think it was brilliant programme but sad that the guy died alone in his flat. RIP to all.

Yes, that was sad about Ben. He seemed quite a lonely person, he said the friendships gave him something to look forward to.

I quite liked Sonia (?) she could have been way more tactful but you could see how painful it was to her. I'm glad he saw his Dad. I was a bit hmmm about her at times too but I think junior was playing it down and she wanted his Dad to know. Shame it's ended but I'm glad there are two still with their families for now. Every second longer must be so precious.

I was really quite disappointed in this programme.

I wonder why these people chose to live out their final months in front of the tv cameras? I'm not judging them, but it did seem odd to me. However, unless one has been in their shoes one doesn't know what one would do.

I get what you're saying, Greyhound. Maybe they thought it would be cathartic. That will be tough for the families to watch later on.

Is this still running or has it finished now. I only saw the start of this weeks aa I was called out. I will try and get time to watch it on catch up but is this the last one?

fackinell · 07/07/2014 11:09

No, it's finished, Doris.you can probably get it on catch up though. It's well worth a watch.
