Is there a thread for netflix recommendations already? I have just watched The Lady Vanishes. A period film. I liked it. I don't know what to watch now. I liked OITNB. It was very watchable. Didn't take me ages to get in to it. Is that hemlock grove any good?

I don't know what OITNB is.

I watched Dexter, It's always Sunny in Philadelphia and some of Orange is the New Black.

Are you only looking for films? I'm not sure I watched any on there.

wafflyversatile · 21/06/2014 22:45

And The Riches.

Cocolepew · 21/06/2014 23:03

House of Cards is brilliant

mithuseretrod · 22/06/2014 19:12

Oh I'd forgotten house of Cards was on there. I'll check out Sunny in Philadelphia, and The Riches. Thank you.

I loved Dexter too. I was watching films while I had a think about what series to get stuck in to next!

Breaking bad
American horror story

JamJimJam · 22/06/2014 19:19

I loved the first series of American Horror story, but the 2nd has left me unimpressed and I have only managed 1 episode.

napoleonsnose · 22/06/2014 19:24

Homeland - I watched both seasons in about a week very untidy house that week
The Bridge and Wallander, if you don't mind subtitles.
I've just started watching the BBC series version of Sense and Sensibility which I'm enjoying.

juneybean · 22/06/2014 19:25

If you have access to US Netflix, I've just binged on Futurama Grin

wafflyversatile · 22/06/2014 19:39

OITNB. oh yeah. Blush

wafflyversatile · 22/06/2014 19:42

oh yes, Homeland was very good! As was American Horror, for a while.

Most of them I gave up on at some point, eg Dexter jumped the shark after about 6/7 series so I've not watched the last one.

NinetyNinePercentTroll · 22/06/2014 19:45

Yes yes to House Of Cards. Brilliant

mithuseretrod · 22/06/2014 23:12

I've watched The Bridge and The Killing. AGES ago, pre-netflix. Loved them. Lilyhammer, eh, watched one series. \Loved Wallander too.

I would love to watch Wallander series three on bbc iplayer but I'm not in the UK. boo hoo. it knows.

I've just watched the whole of Fringe on Netflix, loved it.

mithuseretrod · 22/06/2014 23:39

misslaughalot · 23/06/2014 10:04

Yes, definitely has an x-files kind of feel to it. Although I've just remembered only the first 4 seasons are on Netflix. I borrowed season 5 (the last one) from my brother.
