I'm watching the dentists as I found it on my recorded list.

Feeling a bit . Dd is 14 and needs a tooth removed. Her adult tooth has never come through and xrays show that her adult tooth is nearer her nose and lying at the wrong angle to come through. It needs to come out via surgery as its too high up to get out under a local anesthetic.

I had exactly the same thing at about the same age. Are they going to try and implant the adult tooth?

As she still has the baby tooth, they hope to save it. If not they will put a bridge in and when she has her jaw surgery, she will then get an implant in then while they do her surgery.

My baby teeth were implanted back in. Looked a bit odd but they were fine for about 10 years then they started loosening. I had a bridge then for about 4 years then finally implants. That was about 15 years ago but now my implants have failed so they have to come out. PM me if you want to chat about any of it. Been there got the t-shirt!
