I am! Its truly brilliant. I am sure there another thread about this dontyaknow.

RayofSun · 09/06/2014 22:34

I'm hooked

Youdontneedacriminallawyer · 09/06/2014 22:40

Absolutely love it. Its a close second to Breaking Bad IMO.

WestEast · 09/06/2014 22:43

It's amazing. Martin Freeman is ridiculously good in it.

SisterMoonshine · 09/06/2014 22:56

He's great isn't he?
And nice to see 'Saul' too.
Well cast all round. Billy Bob Thornton makes a good hitman.

I love the whole mood of it.

It is superb. That moment this week when he turned around and saw who was at the next table. Can't wait for next week!

Jjou · 10/06/2014 11:32

I thought that was the last episode in the series FunkyBoldRibena?

KatoPotato · 10/06/2014 11:34

Nope., two more to go!

Jjou · 11/06/2014 12:06

Phew! Thought that was a strange ending...

OnlyLovers · 15/06/2014 12:42

I love it! Knew I'd like it, but it's much much better than I'd expected. Fantastic cast and acting (Molly is terrific), brilliantly weird tone veering from deadpan humour to horror but always takes you with it.

The episode with the fitness instructor bloke strapped to his exercise bike was blacker than black. Had to applaud Lorne Malvo's ingenuity even though I was simultaneously watching in horror through my fingers.

Will miss it when it finishes.

Youdontneedacriminallawyer · 16/06/2014 12:03

Why on earth did Lester man up to Lorne Malvo last night? What an idiot!

SisterMoonshine · 16/06/2014 20:48

I can't get my head around why Lester behaved so stupidly last night either.
Is it just that he thinks he's tough now?

OP posts:
OnlyLovers · 17/06/2014 10:49

I think that's it, Sister –a little bit of 'glory' has gone to his head and he thinks he's a big guy.

It's quite pathetic (in the proper sense of the word); him confronting Lorne, thinking he's on the same level, and being brutally reminded that he really isn't.

Although at the end when he sends his wife into the shop –THAT was almost Lorne-like!

Youdontneedacriminallawyer · 17/06/2014 14:50

Initially, in the bar, I think it's because Lester has got all cocky, tough and big headed. But surely he could have seen the way things were going once they got in the lift....

Clever how you felt sorry for Lester in the first few episodes - down trodden husband and all that. And now we hate him. Very BB.

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 17/06/2014 14:53

I am watching to see letter get his comeuppance.

I guess Lorne should do but I don't mind so much. Loved he way he was telling the kids about the murder in the house etc!! He's just so evil!

What are those tapes he listens to? Is it just his previous kills?

FunkyBoldRibena · 17/06/2014 19:07

I could not believe he sent his wife into the shop! Gripping stuff. Love it.

Youdontneedacriminallawyer · 18/06/2014 12:45

Second series, but different cast :(
