I think the whole trip would have been improved if the voiceover was done by him off Come Dine with Me.

Only me who enjoyed it then? I liked it precisely because it was just 4 non-TV blokes who went on an adventure. Non of that macho crap of Top Gear. It was very soothing in how ordinary they were. And I loved it when he was explaining football to that man and he said he didn't think he'd done a good job.
