Yes you're very incognito with a cameraman following you around David Beckham

And if you don't want to be recognised constantly stop doing giant billboards in just your keeks.

I don't think I should have watched this after Breadline Kids.

Oh, his son is lovely.

Sparklingbrook · 09/06/2014 21:18

This programme is making me cross.

JamJimJam · 09/06/2014 21:21

How dull is he? He has nothing, NOTHING interesting to say.

Lighthousekeeping · 09/06/2014 21:22

We'll, I don't see the point of it but it's not making me feel anything,

Sparklingbrook · 09/06/2014 21:22

He is sooo dull Jam. I am yearning for the Top Gear trio.

Lighthousekeeping · 09/06/2014 21:23

I'm not going to slag him off because I've only heard good things about him in rl. Tv just isn't for him though.

Sparklingbrook · 09/06/2014 21:24

I am sure he's an ok bloke, but yes he really isn't TV material. They should have sent an interesting sleb with him to liven things up a bit.

JamJimJam · 09/06/2014 21:28

We are now laughing at his boring comments.

For the love of pete, what is the point of this?

Cocolepew · 09/06/2014 21:29

I gave up. It was making me cross.
On c4 there was, a dad trying to feed and heat his children, one of whom had cancer. He couldn't afford both
Then he's leaving his mansion, got on a private jet and is stitting in his luxury hotel saying how hard it is.

I admit Im not totally rational atm

OP posts:
Lighthousekeeping · 09/06/2014 21:29

I'd rather watch them blokes from top gear doing this.

Lighthousekeeping · 09/06/2014 21:30

Is it for charity?

JamJimJam · 09/06/2014 21:32

We have given up and changed channel.

Sparklingbrook · 09/06/2014 21:35

Me too Light, they could have done it with him.

It's like Idiot Abroad but not funny.

Lighthousekeeping · 09/06/2014 21:37

I prefer those two from The Trip. Loads of people could've done this.

Sparklingbrook · 09/06/2014 21:41

I am sticking with it to see the rapturous homecoming back at the mansion.

Sparklingbrook · 09/06/2014 21:59

I am amazed. He just went in and shut the door. Grin

handfulofcottonbuds · 09/06/2014 22:02

It would have been better if Victoria went. I love Beckham but I'm very disappointed at that programme.

lirael · 09/06/2014 22:17

It made me laugh when he kept going on about 'fillaying' a fish

Sparklingbrook · 09/06/2014 22:17

If he was very excited about the trip it didn't come across at all.

handfulofcottonbuds · 09/06/2014 22:22

lirael - me too!

Davros · 10/06/2014 07:34

I assumed the "fillaying" was picked up in LA. I luffs him but I agree it has it's dull side, they should have sent him with some more interesting companions

Sparklingbrook · 10/06/2014 07:40

I thought it was from 'Fillay of fish' at Maccy's.

Reminds me of Vicky and her 'skeleetal'.

I think the whole trip would have been improved if the voiceover was done by him off Come Dine with Me. Grin

CoolCadbury · 10/06/2014 10:25

Only me who enjoyed it then? Grin I liked it precisely because it was just 4 non-TV blokes who went on an adventure. Non of that macho crap of Top Gear. It was very soothing in how ordinary they were. And I loved it when he was explaining football to that man and he said he didn't think he'd done a good job.
