Just finished Breaking Bad - what next?

Just finished all breaking bad seasons (best TV show ever!) what can I watch that is similar next??

Have you seen true detective or house of cards? I've not seen BB although DH raved about it but related both these series as even better-I loved them both too although true detective is a bit disturbing (& short at only 8 episodes) but definitely worth a watch.

Fargo - currently showing on Channel 4 on Sundays. We're on ep 7 of 10 though, so you'd have to find some way of watching it.

It has all the elements of BB - gruesome, comedy, good chap goes bad etc etc. We're big BB fans, and loving Fargo.

bit different but my next one after BB is House of Cards - good so far!

We just finished it last night too. We've been watching an episode just about every night forever!

Watching your thread for ideas. We've seen all the Scandi stuff, the Wire, Homeland, watching Fargo, GoT, have even regressed to current series of 24 (which is dire, but something!). Starting current Mad Men tonight, but worried I'll hate it now.

Jax jjust does not do it for me, reminds me too much of all my mates in the grungy nirvana years. Now Tiggy hes dirty.

Another vote for Sons Of Anarchy. I loved this more than breaking bad.

The Sopranos. Better than BB in my humble opinion.

No-one should miss The Sopranos...a classic.

Boardwalk empire and the wire are both fantastic.
Lots of people like Fringe or the fringe- I don't know, I didn't like it tbh but others do so you might.
Hannibal is ok, I found each episode to be a bit samey, but it's ok.
game of thrones and the walking dead are also fantastic.

We had to have a period of mourning after finishing BB . After which we watched Orange is the new black, followed by GoT series 3, and now Fargo (all brilliant).

Oz is a prison drama and is good if you don't mind violence and quite a few shots of naked men(full frontals).

I've also been enjoying Grimm. It took about a third or half the first series for me to get into it. The first half is monster of the week, then the long plot builds and it got more interesting for me.

Fargo has a Tv-MA rating, is that mature audience? If so, why is it rated. I'm not keen on programmes with a lot of sex.

Do you have Netflix? Definitely Orange is the New Black if you haven't seen it. The second season is on today too!
