New series of Catfish

Anyone watching? I think it's only 3 episodes in so far. It's on MTV on Mondays, 9pm.

The last episode was a bit meh, but the second one with the cousins was extremely odd!

I've only seen the first and third episodes. Apparently the 3rd was a scam by them both to gain exposure for his music and her instafame

What happened with the cousins? If you don't mind doing a recap.

I do like Catfish though! I loved one of the old episodes where that girl was pretending she was Bow-Wow

oh yeah, the female Bow wow! legendary! but a bit dodgy nonetheless.

What I don't get is that they are always "best friends" or 'in love' with an online persona that spans over years, and they aren't suspicious that the other person can't Skype. my +60 year old MIL from a village can Skype (now)

I'm still on series 2. Watching the one with Lauren & Derek right now.

I sea the Antoinette / t light today and it seemed like a scam! Good publicity for his band and the girl seemed really into becoming a glamour model

The cousins one was horrible - to be honest, most of the people are effed up and what the catfish does is horrible

Ooh catfish was my guilty pleasure when up at 4 am with my newborn. Had not realised there was a new series but going to go start recording it on sky now. Thanks for the tip off
