Anyone watching the bluetits ?

I don't know how tall the nest box is and I was only half watching but I;m sure one of the babies just flew up out of the nest to a higher part of the box. Maybe it was a parent flying out and I didn't see it properly though.

ds reckons one was sat on the camera !

My children think I'm mad as I keep talking to the TV screen. Come on little blue tits, you can do it!

We're driving dd mad with it ! Good use of time while waiting for MN to load though !

There is definitely one perching up higher in the nest box above the camera, it keeps casting a shadow but the other chicks aren't looking at it so it's not a parent.

has it come down yet ?

Yeah, it landed on the others a few minutes later, definitely a chick.

been out shopping , still there ...

I really should go shopping myself but I know as soon as I do I'll miss it.

were the parents feeding through the hole to try to lure one out ?

I didn't see it when you did but yes, I just saw one getting fed at the hole.

They won't go tonight now, will they? It'll be tomorrow.

Probably not now but they went at dusk last time ! Bet they do it when my back is turned .

I'm going out to an ascension day service in a bit, it'd amuse me if they flew then.

Sorry, bringing the thread down, but has anyone else noticed Chris and micheala's nature based double entendres? Usually tit based, but last night it was beavers. They always have a silly giggle. (Prob mine and Dh's mucky minds then)
Dh was at minsmere Tuesday, no sighting of the lesser crested Packham sadly. I love SW,missed bill though.

I did notice his comment about great tits in HD the other day.

I thought I noticed a couple of song lyrics today too - Chris "Pump up the Volume" Michaela "Spinning around, he's so Dizzy" or something similar.

They do this every year, didn't Chris start off with Smith's song titles?

I spent last night engrossed in the badger live feed! Made the dcs watch it and they were asleep by ten, bored senseless! Dd was horrified by my refusal to turn the channel over. Weirdly addictive.

No another 2 weeks of SW coverage but the programmes take Fri-Sun off. Didn't find out about the rabbit, did I somehow miss it last night ?

oh i see, that's a shame but it looks hard going for them.
