Did anyone watching it last night think crocodile hunter man was a massive prick?!

Not only did he walk around with a face like a slapped arse just because no one fancied being killed on another crocodile hunt but he purposely told Ryan about the turtle just to upset him.

He keeps going on about "what this experience is all about" seemingly failing to notice that no one is going to want to talk to him by the end of it!

But Ryan should have realised the turtles come out at night to lay there eggs. It isn't going to wake him up from sunbathing!!!!!

Yes the Croc man was a prick but so where the lazy ones. It is obvious they would need more food! I would give them all a slap I thinI thought he was off for sniping about the guy who found something to hang their hats on and somewhere to put the coconut bowls as you just know some bell end would tread on them.

Ryan is a bit too sensitive.

TheSpottedZebra · 27/05/2014 19:09

Oh god, he has Rambo-itis, doesn't he?
Could he be more of a cliche do you think? (post divorce, moves to LA to 'find himself', goes to gym, gets his guns out on the beach...).

I am loving Sackie - he seems to manage not being a rambo-ish twat, whilst still being kind and finding food.

mrsjavierbardem · 28/05/2014 10:29

I heard the production team dropped the crocs on the island to give em something to stop them starving.

I think they should spend far more time fishing and checking the nets, SURELY that is their optimum supply?

So odd that they check the nets so rarely and the fish often goes off….
It obviously kicks off some more next week…. great stuff, love watching a real row. And however faked this is (and it doesn't seem too much) these barneys seem real to me!

mrsjavierbardem · 28/05/2014 10:30

Jelly, yes he is a total bellend that guy Rupert (?).

What nob end. But equally that fattie has to get off his arse, jesus, I'd want to harpoon him!

Totally agree with all these comments! I felt really sorry for Ryan when he burst into tears but do think it was a bit of an extreme reaction.

I don't understand why they don't try and bring the nets in/go out with the harpoon when the pelicans are out, the birds are probably eating any fish they've caught!

Also think they should be exploring a bit more, there could be food just around the corner but they don't seem to ever leave the beach!

I'm so disappointed they Rupert has turned out to be a knob because, frankly, I really, really would...

They are all looking authentically gaunt this week, at least.

TheSpottedZebra · 02/06/2014 21:55

Are you quite well, tea - Rupert ?????

?

?

I said on the 1st thread re the island that I thought Sackie would be sound as well as gorgeous and I was utterly correct.

teaandthorazine · 02/06/2014 22:06

Yeah, I like a big, hairy man with blue eyes. So shoot me Grin

mcdog · 02/06/2014 22:10

I love this programme, and have told my DH he has to audition for the next series Smile

TheSpottedZebra · 02/06/2014 22:43

Fletch, tea ? He is all manly and a bit hairy. And not a twat.
Fletch is lovely.

JellyBeansHaveNoAgeLimit · 03/06/2014 13:44

Rupert does have gorgeous eyes, i am a total sucker for blue eyes but even that doesn't take away from his twatishness unfortunately.

Was very pleased they picked Sackie as the leader, just a shame they didn't decide on that idea a few weeks ago! I couldn't be bothered to stay up for the after show programme but am very much looking forward to it tonight!

Gah sorry for the double post, stupid phone!

My 6 year old walked in while I was watching last night and is now desperate to see it. I've not really been watching the series properly. Should I let him watch an episode or are there lots of swearing and references to wanking?

TheWomanTheyCallJayne · 03/06/2014 21:13

Just watching it
Nice to see sam calling rulers out on his hypocrisy

I think matts my favourite though I don't fancy him.

susiedaisy · 03/06/2014 21:59

I enjoyed it. Thought there could of been more episodes though.

JellyBeansHaveNoAgeLimit · 04/06/2014 08:49

Coffee i wouldn't let a 6yo watch it personally as they do have several inappropriate conversations ! Its a shame they couldn't have a before the watershed version for the kids. I highly recommend naked and marooned with Ed Stafford though, that only has the very occasional f word in.

OP posts:
TheWomanTheyCallJayne · 04/06/2014 11:14

Yes I second naked and marooned

And not for kids but we've also enjoyed 'survive that'
