Totally agree it's incredible!

MogTheForgetfulCat · 29/04/2014 21:25

I am watching - jaw-dropping stuff!

MogTheForgetfulCat · 29/04/2014 21:26

Feel so sorry for some of the boys - how are they so disaffected by such a young age? Or maybe that is a naive question Hmm

VanGogh · 29/04/2014 21:28

Was about to start this thread! This is incredible.

17leftfeet · 29/04/2014 21:31

I think some children do get labeled as the 'bad' one and then it's hard for them to remove that label

The boys trying in maths gave me a little bit if hope

Some of them seem so bright, it is so sad.

Going to watch on plus one. Interested in his methods.

VanGogh · 29/04/2014 21:42

That man and that team of staff are absolutely amazing.

PourquoiTuGachesTaVie · 29/04/2014 21:46

I'm not sure I agree that once labelled it's always hard to shake off. I think it all depends on the attitude of the children and parents.

There were three boys in my class in primary school who were the "naughty ones" two of them maintained this label throughout high school too because their attitude to pupils, teachers and school was appalling. They were just not nice people to be around.

The third boy totally turned it around though, he was always the class clown but over time became less disruptive rather than more so. He was also nice to people, to fellow students and teachers. School was clearly not high on his priorities but he was never nasty. I saw him in town recently with his partner and two little girls and he has made a nice life for himself, decent job, house and family.

I do wonder though what did he have that the other boys didn't that can make such a difference to someone's attitude like that.

VanGogh · 29/04/2014 21:48

His voice is so so calm. Man deserves a medal.

PartyConfused · 29/04/2014 21:52

Tom has just made me cry Sad

Wantsunshine · 29/04/2014 21:54

A few of those parents really don't help. Mr Drew is amazing though.

silkknickers · 29/04/2014 21:54

Tom's such a sad boy. Lost his Dad two years ago.

ladybird69 · 29/04/2014 21:54

I am in awe of them. I agree some of the boys seem very intelligent and caring it's almost as if they have to keep up the 'image' I hope they and their parents get the help they need. It's bit like Boot camp that was on few years ago.

littlegreengloworm · 29/04/2014 21:56

I agree, they are very articulate and seem to express themselves clearly. Really expressive.
