Her mum found a receipt in the bin for a lingerie store and apparently that is the store where she used to buy her lingerie when she was having the affair with Charles. This was taken as concrete proof of her guilt, obviously.

The woman who was going to sue Josh is Sue "Nosy" Parker who was at school with Scott and Charlene - she wrote poison pen letters and was caught, that is what Daniel was talking about when he chatted to her, he was letting her know he knew her past and who his mum was. That's why she backed down. It was the same actress from the 1980s!

Oh wow! I remember that story line!
I do like that they're making the stories more rounded with previous backstory.
