After seeing the trailers for the new series starting in May, DH has encouraged me to watch this. I have watched series 1 and most of series 2.

Please tell me I'm not wasting my time, as I look forward to another 150 episodes.

Similar to me. I watched the first two series, really enjoyed them, but then went off it - seemed too samey (and a bit too brutal, I am very squeamish). But the new series does look great-DH and I are intending to watch. I'm a bit of a Kiefer fan too.

Series 3 is fantastic!!! Best characters of all time in it..... Jack (obviously), David and Wayne Palmer, Sherry Palmer, Michelle and Tony and the oh so lovely Chase...... Oh and Nina!!! X

Definitely keep watching, season 3 and 5 are my favourites!

Best TV series ever. I am beyond excited about the return of Jack.

I can see that it would be repetitive watching one after the other. The break has been welcome. Makes me more excited.

Season 3 was the best ever. DH vetoed my suggestion to get sky for the new series so we are waiting for the DVD, meh! Should I LTB?!

I'm almost at the end of season 2 and I'm definitely going to stick with it now. I was on the edge of my seat last night, only 2 more episodes...and counting.

I've just started the Sky box sets and I'm half way through series 1. Great to hear that it gets better.

It is amazing, but one series really got my goat....can't remember which one now. They were all at the presidential retreat and the Biscuit from Ally McBeal was a character....

Season 6. It was bad

Yes, I had conveniently forgotten how bad Peter MacNicol was in season 6.
