So sorry, I know I am waaay behind schedule...

I love DIP but I managed to miss the last episode and my sky plus thingy FAILED to record it so I need to know what happened with the main characters in the last episode.

I saw a preview showing Kris Marshalls wife was going to try to get him back. But I wanted him to get together with the lovely Camille.

Can anyone tell me what happened?

Many Thanks

In a very quick nutshell, she tried but he said it would never work and right at the end confessed his love for Camille to one of his colleagues..... Cliffhanger all set for next season!

Fidel said he should tell Camille but he said no, it was perfect as it was. Oh, and someone got murdered, can't remember who or who did it!!

hamptoncourt · 24/04/2014 19:26

Thanks so much. Yes I wasn't really bothered about the murder!!

Can't wait for the next series.

Yep, his ex wife expected to turn up, flutter her eyelashes, and he'd be putty in her hands so she wasn't very happy to find he'd 'moved on' and wasn't interested (although that wasn't revealed until the end, they made it seem as if he would take her back if I remember rightly).

He confessed his love for Camille to fidel but as he isn't going to say anything to her he is presumably going to lust over admire her from afar like some kind of weird stalker Grin.

Oh I hope they are snogging by the end of the next series!!!

I quite like the romantic tension though, it's a little bit innocent and that seems to be missing from a lot of todays TV Hoiks up old granny pants

I agree hoiking up my granny pants too. And the wife accused him of being boring and not willing to do something different and he said "well this is it and you didn't want to come"

I love this series. When they show something awful happening at the beginning then the happy, clappy intro music starts it feels so incongruous, especially when we start dancing about on the settee.
