17mo ds loves Nina and the Neurons good job too I know fuck all about science and is most upset that she's not on at teatime this week. Luckily Rastamouse counts as cultural in this house (dp's family are from Jamaica) and I dissect it with SIL whenever she catches it, although hers are older.

Andy is a huge hit, and is the reason that ds's first animal noise was Rah Easter Grin

My dad has a crush on Show Me Show Me Rebecca Easter Blush

I find Peter Rabbit odd, probably because I was a huge fan of the books as a kid. Sarah and Duck just makes me think of the poster SarahandFuck, it took me a while to realise where the username had come from. We don't really watch much else as ds isn't hugely bothered about tv yet I use it to keep him calm when he's tired at tea time and doesn't usually bother to switch it on when he's playing.

I do encourage Something Special. One of his cousins has non-verbal ASD so it's important to me that he grows up understanding differences and being tolerant and understanding.

Peter rabbit and Sarah and duck are loved all round here. Rastamouse liked by the adults here, dd can take it or leave it. The children in grandpa in my pocket overact big time

The wean loves Octonauts but it leaves me cold - submariner cats and dogs who keep turnips as their slaves... I don't get it but then, it's not aimed at me.

Tree Fu Tom is ghastly and I want to alert social services to the lack of parental care that Charlie and the dreadful Lola desperately need. That pocket grandad thing is horrible and Chuggington is hideous.

Actually, I hate the lot with a passion but nod along as best I can.

nirishma · 20/04/2014 23:49

I hate chuggington. The theme music is so annoying!

DramaQueenofHighCs · 20/04/2014 23:50

I actually kinda like 'Grandpa in my pocket' (though not the latest series.) that may however have something to do with the fact that I have relatives who live quite near Southwold beach which is 'Sunnysands' and can make DS's friends jealous by saying we've been there.

SchnitzelVonKrumm · 20/04/2014 23:53

Octonauts is the best programme on Cbeebies. There are loads I can't stand - I reserve particular hatred for the Tweenies - but Dirtgirlworld stands out as possibly the most frightening thing I've ever seen on TV.

TwelveLeggedWalk · 20/04/2014 23:56

Sarah and duck and Dipdap are universally loved here.
Can't touch Peppa, or Thomas for DS, though

cece · 21/04/2014 07:36
