How do I watch US Netflix and not UK?

I've heard that the US version has a bigger catalogue of programmes to watch, so how do I change the settings to access it please?

We watch it online (I think) and not through an app as our TV is plugged into a Media Center PC.

You need something that hides your location. I had unlocator, but don't want to pay a monthly charge for it. I'm sure more techie types will tell you but a quick google will help. Type in for free though.

I use unblock-us.com but you have to pay a small fee. It's well worth it

I used to use the Hola! extension for Google Chrome which works well - it's free too.

If you use the firefox browser, there is an app available that lets you access US netflix. You can then use another browser e.g. google chrome to access UK netflix. Although US netflix has a wider range of shows/films to watch, some programs are only available on the UK version.

For watching on ipad playstation xbox etc, you need to enter a US DNS code in your internet settings. Google-able.

Great! Thank you. I've got in using the Hola extension in Google Chrome. It's a good idea to have one browser to access the UK site and another for the US. Will definitely do that.

DH did it, you change the settings, it doesn't cost anything, search on YouTube there's videos showing how to do it :)

I watch us netflix through the wii u bt changing the DNS codes, just google it. I get the uk one through the smart TV so it's the best of both worlds.

Can I ask, is this illegal? We also use unblock-us for £3 a month (netflix still well worth it at £9 with that fee) just wondering if its legal or not.
