Loving Jessica Lange

Just started season 1??
Wait till you get to season 2! It's the best in my opinion.

Season 4 will be Jessica Lange's last and will be called AHS:Carnival.

Each season (3 so far) is totally separate and I absolutely loved AHS 1 and 2. They are both incredibly well done and gripping. AHS 3 (Coven) was unfortunately utter garbage. The 4th looks set to be brilliant again.

Agree with the Jessica Lange love, she is flawless! She is in all of the seasons (as different characters in unrelated stories) and exceptional in every role.

Also agree with PersonalClown, season 2 is my favourite so far.

its so weird and freaky i just cant stop thinking about it! - i watched season one and 2 back to front, sky box had recorded season 2 then i decided to watch season one on netflix too. im on episode 9 and cant wait to finish work and get kids to bed to watch episode 10 tonight! ha.
didnt realise season 3 had already been out - has it been on sky yet??

I'd never even heard of it. I'm now wondering when Bates Motel will be back on. Anyone know?

I watched them totally back to front, I watched half of season 1 then all of 3 then 2 then all of 1, I can't wait for season four.

(Also random bit of trivia, the actress who played Volet/Zoe, Taissa Farmiga is the sister of Vera Farminga who plays Norma In Bates motel.)

We've just started watching season 1 too. I've found we can't 'binge watch' as it's far too tense!

Season 2 was fab, 3 was ok - best line was when Jessica Lange' s character was asked if she was in charge here and she replied "I'm in charge everywhere" :) Still not seen 1 yet!!
Anyone know when season 4 will air?

I only liked season 1 of American Horror Story. I loved the penultimate episode but the finale was a bit of a let down and a bit Beetlejuicy.

I was baffled by season 2 and season 3 was rubbish.

Love, love American horror story. I'm only halfway thought first season in Netflix but really enjoying it!

blondes you might already know this, but if you do watch season 1 again to get things you missed, the first episode has loads of horror film references in it. I don't remember how many, 20, or maybe more.

The only ones I can remember are Hallowe'en where there's a scene of flapping sheets on a washing line that recreates Lori glimpsing Michael Myers, and Kill Bill Vol 1, (not exactly horror), where Tate is walking through school in skull make-up whistling a creepy little tune. I also spotted a Psycho one and a The Birds one but I can't remember what they are.

Someone told me to look out for them but I had to stop because I was missing the plot - trying to work out where I'd heard that tune before was really distracting. I've got a box set now so you've reminded me to re-watch for that.
