I always seem to come late the party ... just watched series 1 of 24 ..

It was so good, and I feel quite bereft now it's finished. Fortunately there are 7 more series to watch! Although I've heard that only 1, 2 and 3 are worth it.

With that in mind, are there any other must-see series that I should know about? I'm also watching series 2 of The Americans which is ok, but wouldn't be heartbroken if it ended.

I don't have Netflix, but do have Sky so any suggestions from there would be most welcome!

We loved the first few series of 24, and then we sort of ran out of steam with it and couldn't be bothered with it after that.

Loved The Americans at first, fantastic idea, but now finding it quite depressing, and a bit tedious. DH is struggling on with it though.

A friend has recently recommended Six Feet Under, which we haven't started yet.

Series 6 of 24 is fantastic! I think 3 was the best though
Have you tried breaking bad?

Yes, I just downloaded some from sky box sets and I'm hooked after episode 1.

I don't have much time though as DS and I are working our way through all 9 series of Greys Anatomy.
I love American series.
Have you tried Scandal, The Good Wife, Person of Interest, Rizzoli and Isles?
